I Had a Great Experience with Dr V and His Team
It’s taken me way too long to write a review for Dr. V and the reason for that is that I worry my review won’t do him and his team justice.
I got a mommy makeover with Dr. V: tummy tuck with large diastasis repair and breast augmentation. From the moment I went in for the first consultation, I felt so cared for. Dr V’s and Megan’s warmth made me feel understood and at home. Dr. V patiently explained the whole process to me including the pros and cons of having such a big procedure done. More importantly, he listened to me and my needs. The focus was on what I wanted, how I wanted to look and then the path to get there, not what Dr. V could try and sell me or convince me to do. I ended up going shopping around and doing consultations with other doctors in the area just to make sure I did more research and these meetings just solidified my decision to have Dr. V take care of my surgery. There were cheaper alternatives, sure, but there are things to save a buck on in life and I am not sure plastic surgery is one of those things.
The reason I felt I wanted a tummy tuck (which was the more important part for me) is that I suffered from pretty bad prolapse after giving birth to my third baby. All of a sudden my usual back pain problems became unbearable to the point that I’d need muscle relaxers to function day-to-day. I conducted a lot of research and I knew that all the issues I was having would be made much better by a strong core. I am a fitness fanatic who works out daily and I would focus my core on a consistent basis because I wanted to get my back pain in check. However, I realized I was doing everything I could and it wasn't enough. None of the exercises helped until I had the tummy tuck. Further, my diastasis meant that after a large meal I would look nearly pregnant with an engorged belly. That really bothered me because I was already so skinny (105 lbs) and yet if I ate I would look much larger. I felt so frustrated because I was doing all the right things: eating healthy, not overeating, working out all the time. Don’t get me wrong, I looked good but I was upset by the fact that I couldn’t go out for a big meal in something tight because I would know my tummy would be sticking out.
I’m now 8 months post-surgery and I just couldn’t be happier with how I feel and look. Dr. V also gave me some nicely defined muscles with his signature liposculpting and I’m constantly showing them off in my crop tops.
My decision to do breast augmentation was almost an afterthought. I didn't care much before the surgery, but now I love my breasts in a way I never thought I would. I’m so happy to have them. I did opt to not place the augmentation under the muscle since I work out a lot and I'm glad I made this choice. They not only look amazing, they are also so incredibly comfortable. I’m constantly bra less and I’m really proud of them!
Honestly if you are considering a mommy makeover please check out Dr. V. He will never try and pressure you into getting anything done and he will explain the good and the bad to you. Post-procedure Megan is constantly checking in on you and she will answer all of your questions very patiently even if sometimes you call daily or multiple times a day! I can’t thank them enough for the wonderful job they’ve done and I feel so lucky to have found them!
