Dr. Castillo is THE absolute best choice for your mommy makeover. He takes a tailored approach, is honest & responsive, delivers AMAZING results and his bedside manner is unmatched - truly made me feel like a VIP patient! I hope you’ll read this whole review -- selecting a surgeon is a huge decision and I’d hate for you to miss an opportunity to work with him.
I’ll beat to the punch and tell you about my results, but be sure to read on for how he was amazing throughout the journey. Dr. Castillo completed my breast augmentation, abdominoplasty and hernia repair. There is both art & science to doing these procedures and this man is skilled! The results are truly work of art. My tummy tuck scar is thin, low, symmetrical and short as promised and he was able to help me avoid a vertical scar (which many warned me I may end up with because I did not have a lot of loose skin). He turned my overstretched belly button into a beautiful, natural looking one despite having an big umbilical hernia to work around (thank you 9 lb babies!). And, my breasts… oh, my breasts…. They’re perfect! I was unsure of what size to go with, only knowing that I wanted something “natural.” He patiently spent time with me, “trying on” different sizes, and didn’t even flinch at my annoying ask to try the various sizes on “just one more time” (although I’d already seen them all 5x). Through it all, Dr. Castillo listened and asked probing questions to truly understand what I wanted to achieve. He set clear expectations so there would be no surprises and provided his guidance and perspective, all while ensuring that MY voice and MY choices were acted on.
Be warned: the recovery process for a tummy tuck is both physical and emotional. Because of Dr. Castillo, I was well-equipped for both. I first saw him 2 years ago, when I was curious, but scared and not ready. He knew I wasn’t ready and still met with me for over an hour and a second time a year later. When I was finally ready to pull the trigger this year, he was very honest & prepared me for what to expect. He checked in several times BEFORE surgery, happy to talk through my gazillion questions and hear about my pre-surgery nerves. He has called every single day since surgery, ensured all my questions are answered and went as far as bringing me in on Easter Sunday to give me peace of mind and check on something that was concerning me. (It was nothing!)
I cannot thank him enough for his patience, empathy and flexibility. And of course, for these fantastic results! He went above and beyond to exceed my expectations and will do so for you as well!
