Mommy makeover!

WORTH IT$18,000
I’ve been researching for a long time for a mommy makeover. I had my oldest when I was really young. Now that I have 3 kids and I’m completely done having kids I want to feel good about my body. I made a consultation at Dr.Vath’s office and was able to get an appointment few weeks later. I went in for my consultation and they were running behind which is completely fine because not everything always goes as planned and I usually give myself time Incase things like that happen. When Dr.Vath came out and greeted me and bought me back (which is really nice since usually it’s a nurse or their assistant is the one that usually comes and gets you) he brings you straight back to his office an gets right down to business which is something I like (he did seem like he was kind of in a rush which is fine I’m usually not one of those people that have a million questions to ask). He asks you what your concerns are and what area you’d like to see change. Then he’ll tell you what he suggests will look nice which is nice because obviously he’s the expert. After all that you go to a different room with his patient coordinator and you’ll change into one of their gowns and he’ll go over you body with you. And if you decide you want a BA they’ll take you to another room where they do all the sizing and take pictures of your boobs from different angles and have you try on different sizers. After you try on the sizers and you pick the one you like they’ll put the numbers into he computers and it’ll show you a prediction of what you’ll look like. It was pretty cool to see that so you just have a visual. Then he’ll come back in and see what size you chose. Which I think is nice because then you can kind of see what you like without the doctor there. I was very pleased with how everything went. The patient coordinator Carrie was extremely friendly I am pretty young and get judged all the time and Carrie did not make me feel that way at all. When we went to get office she talked to me about pricing, recovery and what availability’s they had and told me I can take the weekend to think about it and I had to check my schedule anyway since I run my own business she was never pushy about setting an appointment right away. She contacted me on Monday which was great since I forgot her card at home she was able to set everything up for me that day. Now I have a surgery date of February 4! I’m super excited!

Pre-op

Went in for my pre-op last week and the nurse went over all the meds I was going to be taking. They are really organized about how your going to be feeling for the first week or so (they even have a chart lol) how much meds you should take, things you need to be on the look out for after surgery and numbers you can call if you feel like somethings wrong. Gave me all the prescriptions that I was going to need. I actually had second thoughts about going to small for my BA so i asked if I could retry the sizing and I am so glad that I did. I tried on the 305cc originally and talked to several people and said that I should try on one size bigger just to see and I actually really liked the 325cc a lot better. The biggest suggestion I would give is bring a white T-shirt that is kind of tight and try the sizers on with the T-shirt over them. But my surgery is a week away and I am super excited.

Had my Surgery!

phuynh87
I was trying to update right after surgery but something was wrong with the app and wouldn’t let me update but I am now 4 weeks post-op I just went and saw Dr. Vath on Tuesday and he said everything looked great. I am extremely happy with my results so far I have some swelling still but he said that it will go down slowly.
The day of surgery I was the very first person there in the morning. All the nurses, anesthesiologist and doctors that I saw were all very nice made you feel comfortable. They went over all the post op care with my husband and I. I went in at 6am and was done about 10:30 so I don’t think it was too bad. When I came out I felt pretty nauseous that was the first time I’ve been under anesthesia. But they gave me something to help that right away. I was in recovery for about another hour and a half to give me some pain meds so I could be comfortable on the ride home. When You get home all you pretty much want to do is sleep. My husband was great about getting me up to take my pain meds. I only took ibuprofen and Tylenol, I didn’t take any of the narcotics usually they make me feel a little sick. When your home it is really had to move around because everything is so tight. The first night wasn’t too bad. But she I got up the next day I is ask myself why I put my self thru that lol. After the third day it was better and it just gets better from there.
I went back to work after 2 weeks. The first few days your pretty tired by the end of the day. The doctor told me that your able to go back to work in 10 days to 2 weeks. If anyone ever asked me how long you should take off for recovery I would suggest 2 1/2 weeks to 3. I remembered exactly day I felt a little normal again which was the Thursday the first week I was back at work.
I’m 32, 128lb, 5’0 I’ve had 3 kids (16, 11, 5) all 3 c-sections.
Theses pictures are my before and 2 weeks post op.
