Well, I’m 2 days out and it’s becoming more real. I guess you never feel really ready, kinda like having your first child. So glad I found this community of people that really explains their experiences in detail, things you might expect and supports each other throughout your journey. I will be posting a bunch of before pictures on my next post, but here are some of my stats; I’m 46 yrs old 5’8” and about 154 lbs, I work out at least 4 times a week and am a proud mother of 3 wonderful humans, 24, 21 and 16. I gained about 80 lbs with each of my pregnancies and have the stretch marks and extra skin to prove it. I’ve been wanting a tune up on my body for a long time and can’t believe how lucky I am to be able to go through with it. I know there are a lot of people out there that don’t get the opportunity, I’m truly blessed to have a family and husband that are so supportive. So wish me luck and I be keeping everybody updated.

It’s 5:55 am, had to get up at 4:20 to take a shower so we could leave by 4:50 to get to Dr. Vath’s surgery center. Didn’t get much sleep last night, too excited for today. I hope to give an update later today, but we’ll see how I’m feeling...
