WORTH IT
I’m 45, 5’1 and was busting out of my 34DDD, had auxiliary breast tissue & embarrassed to be around my naked self after 2 c-sections.
Dr. Steinwald and the Center for Cosmetic Surgery to the rescue! I’m posting as Realself was huge for me and I need to contribute - especially for those considering in the Denver area.
The Golden, CO office staff from front desk, nurses, patient counselor and of course Dr. Steinwald were and are so delightful to work with. Every encounter left me more relaxed and more confident prior to surgery. Surgery itself was April 12 and the surgical staff (nurses, anesthesiologist, etc.) were all very professional and left me at ease in the day of. Dr. Steinwald followed up later that evening and the staff continues to check in & is easily available for questions.
I’m 20 days out and I love my cute new little self more and more! I went to a 34C, had a tummy tuck with lipo & had auxiliary breast tissues removed.
The BB looks amazing so far (tape is still on/I trim as the edges start to unstick) & the pain is pleasantly surprisingly minimal! Nipple sensitivity is back, I did not need drains, and I’m wearing tops I haven’t in a really, really long time!
My auxiliary breast tissue/armpits tape is off and the incisions are not pretty to look at now but the masses are gone and I can’t wait for those scars to heal! I love cute tank tops and can’t believe I’ll be able to wear them with confidence again!
The TT with Lipo is mostly still under tape, but holy instant gratification! I’m down 4 inches around my belly button over night, my extra skin and cellulite completely disappeared! I haven’t seen my “hour glass” since pre- babies! There is tightness to the equivalent of a really hard ab workout and you do have to be prepared to be ginger with your incisions (I’m not side sleeping yet & am super careful getting out of bed, chairs,etc).
In a nutshell, I am thrilled with the whole experience and would highly recommend Dr. Steinwald and the Center for Cosmetic Surgery!
