You look amazing! You must be thrilled. Thank you for sharing your pictures. Do you know where your grafts were placed?
Thanks for sharing.
I had a bunch (both to lengthen the tip and to lower and even out the nostrils), and I saw pictures of them before my nose was sewn back up, and they looked pretty cool and very-well constructed. Hope they stay that way for life!
Thanks so much for posting the pics. First off, those aren't scars. Under the nose is invisible and chest looks like a cat scratch :)
Yeah, there isn't any line at all on the nose. I do have to come up with a story for the chest, so that sounds like a good one :).
Re: coming up w/ a cover story - I'm a bad liar so had a solid version of truth as excuse...both before and after surgery. I remember telling people beforehand I was going away to have my nose ENLARGED and wasn't happy about it, but it had to be done unfortunately. That I did not have cancer thankfully but was having nose ENLARGEMENT surgery at a cancer hospital that does the surgery often for collapsed and deformed noses (all true at the time! Surgery was done at the Sylvester Cancer Center of Jackson Memorial hospital/part of U of Miami where Dr Davis was at the time), and that hopefully one day I would be able to breathe again. That it was different from deviated septum surgery and done more like a cancer reconstruction or trauma case, that the surgeon has to take other body parts and ADD THEM for a much BIGGER NOSE, and there really aren't any local docs who do this often. My health insurance agreed to pay for a specialist out of the area (still all true, surgery was covered). Not sure what body parts would be used, could be ear, rib, skin, scalp, that I'm frankly not happy about it at all/ embarrassed/ quite upset by the whole thing and will need some time to recover so please don't stare at me thx. ----It seemed to work, others generally don't think of a nose enlargement as a good thing for someone's face LOL and certainly not what most people associate with nose jobs. If someone asked me why this happened in the first place I would usually be honest about the origin, a nose job gone horribly wrong when I was very young that I deeply regretted. I guess I could have just as easily said it was caused by an old injury or it was congenital/deformity/weak or missing cartilage if I didn't want to admit to prior cosmetic surgery.
That is a great result. What grafts did you hsve in your nose and his does the nose feel.
Thanks. There were several grafts--first to lengthen the septum, then to lower the nostril rim, and finally to fill in a bit of the pinched appearance. I saw the picture of them and they all were sewn together very neatly and the grafts were very well carved.
Did he recommend anything like silicone scar sheets for the chest or to just let the scar fade naturally? It looks good.
No, he said those weren't likely to be necessary, but we'll see what he says when I have my first big followup in a few weeks.
Thank you!!!!!

Your nose was not that bad before the surgery but now it looks perfect.
Thanks so kindly! Yeah that's why I wasn't willing to do it unless I felt the downside risk was very very low.
Great results! Now the front looks much better than before. This nose fits your face perfectly! Congrats.
thank you!
You look amazing! Congrats!! I have a consultation with him next month and I was a little nervous bc I had read some scary reviews but this gives me more confidence about choosing him! Congrats again and thank you for sharing your pics!
