I had my rhinoplasty on April 2, right before my 30th birthday, and it was a very good decision. Now i look at my old pictures wondering how I could live with a such a fat nose for so long. Never thought my nose could look so different. I am very grateful to Dr Epstein for his work.
I came to Dr Epstein after seeing 2 other surgeons in Russia. Both warned me about thick skin, potential extreme swelling, and did not sound too enthusiastic - said they would try to do something but no guarantees. While Dr Epstein also mentioned such factors as thick skin and my tendency to swell, he took measures to minimize the negative consequences, so in the end my nose looks great.
The recovery went much better than I had anticipated. I was up and about 4 days after the surgery (still with my cast on), and celebrate my 30th birthday in Miami without any marks whatsoever.
