The new me!
Some Picts of my new body, the left is still swollen from the lipo or I may need a small revision but I'm still super happy with the rest!!
Still healing.....
It's taken a while to feel like me again after the events of last month but thankfully I have now started to feel myself again both physically and emotionally. My healing has been good though I still get swollen later in the day especially if it's a work day even though I have a desk job. I have been putting lotion on my scar because it was feeling really tight, the lotion has helped with that. I love how low my scar is and love my belly bottom. I have been getting massages 2 times a week in my lipoed areas, the swelling has gone down there too though one side of my waist line is a little more swollen than the other one. If it doesn't go down completely I may ask for a small revision of that side later on. As for now it's too soon. I live in my girddle, I wear a tighter one during the day and the one with less compression at night. I have lost a total of 10 pounds but I'm worried because my appetite is back so I have to watch it. I got in my pool this past weekend and loved every minute of it, no swimming yet. Next week I'm planning on starting my treadmill slowly at first. This coming Saturday I make 7 weeks. I will post pics this weekend.
Heartbroken.
Talk about a painful recovery. I lost my mother last night after a week in the hospital fighting to recover from hip surgery. I totally forgot about me so that I could care for her, we lost the battle last night. I pray I can see better days ahead. I miss her so......

Dr. Jose Perez Gurri, an extremely professional and knowledgeable man. Spent over an hour with my husband and I explaining the procedure and talking to us about trusting him to work with the best certified team of professionals, he insisted for me to research him and his qualifications before I decided, he also asked me to seek other opinions which I didn't feel I needed after meeting with him. I was shown pictures of actual patients he's worked on and was given a tour of the surgical center. Overall I felt safe and in very good hands.
