Saw Dr Davis
I saw Dr Davis recently. He was nice enough to meet up with me when he was in my city doing some lecturing. We talked about a touch up and he encouraged me to leave it alone, but also said he may offer a touch up. My nostil is a bit uneven. He talked about not wanting to expose the graft that is in there, because if I lose the graft to an infection I will have nothing, and instead putting something like fascia in a bit of the nostril to try and bring it down. No perfect solution I guess. Anyway, it's something to think about it.
Checking in
Just thought I'd check in since it's been a year. Everything is fine. Nose is good, not perfect, but good, and the scar is okay and hidden under my breast. I have mostly recovered from the trauma associated with the surgery and do not think about it as much as I used to.
Lucky
When I was researching I considered Andrew Frankel and Ashkan Ghavami. Soooo glad I didn't chose either.
