Hello Lovely Ladies! It is exactly one week until my surgery and I am getting more anxious/excited as I get closer. I live in the Orlando area but am traveling to Miami to Coral Gables Cosmetic surgery center to have Dr. Mel Ortega perform my BA.. From what I understand he is the bomb.com and a top rated doc on real self. I found them on google and for a price of 2500$ with 5 star reviews I'd be silly not to go there. I need a small lift but declined it because with my skin pigment I scar easily. There's a few things I'm pretty nervous about.. 1. The size.. am tall and thin and can afford to go bigger, but I also dont want to appear top heavy, so ultimately I really have no clue until I try on sizers during my pre op. Im either going for a full C or small D. 2. Is the anesthesia, I HATE ANESTHESIA!! Last time I was swinging on the dr when I had ear surgery.. I just freak out as soon as the mask goes on. Something about fading out makes me feel like Im not coming back! Hopefully they will tranquilize me ahead of time, dont care if they even use a dart gun haha! Anyways, I will keep you ladies with upcoming surgeries in my thoughts and prayers and also keep you all updated! Wish me Luck :)

Good luck, its so soon!! I don't think you need a lift at all, and judging by your pre op pics I'm sure you will have a beautiful result :)

Thank you Ana. The first Dr that said I needed one ended up not doing my surgery, but Dr Ortega said I didn't he is so wonderful. I had my surgery yesterday. So sore and can't sleep but worth it . good luck On your surgery I'll be checking up on you

You will love the staff and drS. They are extremely busy but they are very caring. Are you staying at their recovery house or another hotel? Feel free to private message me too. I just met some gals from NY today who had a BA.

Staying at a hotel.. Glad u like them and so happy someone went before me that I could see...real self has been a blessing!!!

Today is the day.
Surgrey in two hours. I'm so nervous I'm gonna puke. I'm doing 400 cc silicone and 425 in the other. I can't wait to get this over with!! No more itty bitty tittie committee

Hey Susan I live I'm Orlando but drove to Miami. when I originally did consultation through emails the Dr said I was border line , but they switched me to Dr Ortega who said I didn't need one. I got silicone high profile, under muscle. 450 cc in left and 475 in right. I literally paid 3200 all together and it was well worth it. Dr Ortega is so kind and real and he is a well known doc. What surgery center are you going to??

no how you get on please Im having my pre-op consultation on 15th April and actual op on 29th, and last time I went to surgeon(6years ago) they said I needed a small uplift only 1-2cm but I really didn't want a lift x

Hey Emma. Doc didn't think I needed one. My nipples are even and I had plenty of skin underneath. I would rather not have my breasts done if I had to get a lift. The scarring, especially with NY pigment wouldn't of been worth it. I'm going in for my post op in an hour. Send me a pic of your breasts, I want to see in comparison to my former tatas to see where your nipples are

not sure how you do it lol, only just signed up for this, I'm going to sort through my profile and upload some pics, I think I will be ok with just implants although they may have to be large to fill my skin x
You're not alone with your fear of anesthesia. Perhaps your doctor can prescribe something to ease your nerves the morning of surgery. Here is a list of helpful recovery supplies you may want to have on hand. You can also find some solace in talking with other March 2015 breast augmentation members.
