My Mommy Makeover Experience w/ Dr. Wright - Media, PA

Tummy before

No matter how many leg crunches, planks or leg lifts I do my stomach continues to sag and lack form. I've conditioned myself to suck it in.

Step 2: Scheduling the Surgery

Tomorrow is my birthday and I was hoping to have my surgery scheduled. I didn't want surgery on my birthday just to have a known date by my birthday as a gift to myself. I have all the other peices lined up to be executed; payment, time off of work, extra help around the house, and recovery resources. All this in place and no date scheduled. I'm not complaining as it took me two years just to get to this point. I'm hoping to have a date secured by Monday. Has anyone else experienced a waiting period for scheduling surgery?

In a word my consultation with Dr. Wright was exceptional! I'm at the interviewing stage of the Mommy Makeover process and have been on four different consultations to date. Above all Dr. Wright stood out because of his knowledge, expertise and collaborative consultative approach. Instead of saying something was unrealistic or devaluing my Mommy Makeover goals, he provided insight and explanations to help me adjust my expectations. I found him to be non-judgmental, professional, genuine, and knowledgeable. I was so impressed with his consultation that I was ready to cancel my other consultations for the week and schedule the surgery with him immediately. However, I recognized that interviewing doctors is all a part of the process so I continued and met with the remaining doctors which further confirmed that Dr. Wright would be the right choice. I contacted the office to schedule my appointment. More to follow.

Haha "Dr. Write would be the right choice" pun intended?
So what time frame are you hoping to get? Asap or few months from now?
Thanks for the smile :-) I'm hoping to have my surgery done before the end of the month. When I called the office yesterday they were trying to schedule me for 11/12. I asked for something sooner so I could have more time to heal before turkey day. Also October is my birthday month so I am hoping to have surgery within October. I've been planning this for the last two years in which I lost 29 pounds and researched. I can't believe I'm finally this close to getting it done.
Well HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY!!! And congratz on the loss of 29 lbs!!
