He’s the one! Couldn’t be happier!

I consider myself fortunate that I have always been told I look younger than my age. However, I started to see some changes after I reached 50. I tried Ultherapy twice and it did not resolve the problem of my sagging jaw and neckline. I researched lower neck lifts for over 2 years and had actually scheduled/put deposit down, to have the procedure in the Carolinas. I started to question my decision as I was uncomfortable with having to be away for 2 weeks for expected recovery, and the cost associated. It was at that time, a few months prior to the scheduled surgery, that I decided to book a consultation with Dr. Karolak after reading the heartfelt reviews here on realself. Don’t know how I missed him before! On the day of my consultation, not only was he on time (which is a rarity these days) but he was the most welcoming, genuine, caring, and knowledgeable surgeon I had ever met. The bonus was he was located right in my own backyard!! Well, maybe a few towns away. ;). He spent an hour with me, listening to my concerns about my jaw and neckline. He explained that a neck lift itself would not completely resolve my existing issues to my satisfaction. He explained in detail why the way to go would be a lower face lift with neck and fat transfer to the marionette lines and chin.
I knew right after meeting with him, that he was my guy! I canceled my surgery with the other doctor and booked my surgery with Dr. K. ASAP!
All I can tell you is that I am absolutely positive that my decision was the right one! From the lovely office, to the incredibly friendly and efficient staff (shout out to Michelle and Paola), and last but certainly not least, to the AHH-MAZING, most natural result I could have asked for! Local anesthesia and a couple muscle relaxers allowed me walk right out of the office post procedure. Recovery was a snap with no pain. The worst I experienced was a feeling of tightness and some itching, both totally normal. 3 months later, no one, and I mean nobody, has a clue what I had done! Only reactions were how great I looked! Dr. Karolak is so incredibly meticulous in his work! Every case is customized to the patient. Due to his skill in where and how he closed the incisions, there are no visible scars in the usual places you would expect. Simply outstanding! Hopefully the pictures I’m posting will speak for themselves. Just first getting around to posting them due to my travel schedule.
Seriously, if you want to have the best experience and outcome, please make an appointment with Dr. Karolak! I just can’t say enough about him! I’ve already recommended him to my friends and I’ll be seeing him for any future facial procedures I decide to have done.
