I am considering having my implants removed due to...

I am considering having my implants removed due to discomfort and hardness of breasts. I have learned so much from these posts and am wondering if there are any readers out there who have had this particular experience. I have seen a great PS who is supportive and gave me three option: explantation, explantation with mastopexy, explantation with fat grafting. I am very athletic and believe these breasts impede my ability to do what I want plus, nothing fits good. I am a 38C, which doesn't seem all that large but squeezing them into a sports bra is the pits. I wind up with a in uniboob the feels like it's up under my chin. Ugh! I am ready to have them out. Comments?

Scheduled my procedure!

Well, I finished my triathlon so I decided that it was time to pull the plug on these burdensome implants. I am scheduled for 10/22/14 with preop 10/8. I am looking forward to it. I will also have a mastopexy. I am so looking forward to being able to lay on my tummy and to be lighter. Although I haven't been bothered by a bounce when running, I have all this extra stuff on top that makes it so much harder to feel comfortable in my clothes, plus, when my grandsons hug me, I know they notice that my boobs are like grapefruit, hard and unyielding. I am confident that all will be well, once things are healed up. This site has been so helpful and I am looking forward to posting my results. I am not doing the fat grafting, BTW. I figure I will be okay without it. I can always do it later, if need be.

A picture

Well, I must say it took some courage to take a picture of my own chest but here they are, in all their glory.

Kind, knowledgable and supportive on consultation. Update post operatively: Dr. Walden is awesome and her staff is very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. I could go on and on but you get my drift.
