I wanted to wait for a while before posting purely as I believe perspective on the whole process was necessary to allow me to give an honest review of the outcome. I have been wanting a mastopexy with implants for 10 years. I found amazing reviews on Mr Marando on another site and I've been following his work ever since. As soon as the time was right I booked a consultation with Mr Marando. He listened intently to everything I wanted from new boobs. He went through every facet of the procedure, good and bad. He showed me photos of his work, took photos and measurements and gave me different options and outcomes to think about before going ahead. It was at his suggestion that I should have consultations with other respected surgeons so that I was able to make a fully informed decision. The consultation was relaxed and unhurried and Mr Marando was professional, polite, impeccably dressed and simple lovely. My boyfriend and I got into the elevator after the consultation and made our decision there and then, no hesitation. He was absolutely the right surgeon. I had a second consultation where he answered any questions I had, I made some further decisions about my new boobs and booked my surgery for mastopexy with under muscle implants for December 2016. At no point did I feel any pressure whatsoever and he explained that if at any point I felt I didn't want to go ahead I could change my mind. However, I had waited so long I knew this was 100% the right choice. On the day of surgery, once I was settled in to my room Mr Marando came to take final measurements, mark me up, answer any questions, double check my decision and finalise paperwork. He was, as ever, extremely professional, wonderfully polite and good houmoured and I have to mention that he has the incredibly rare gift of radiating calm. Might sound odd, but you will come to understand exactly what I mean. Mr Marando came to see me after surgery and assured me that everything had gone exactly to plan. I spent 1 night in hospital and was discharged the next day with antibiotics, paracetamol and codeine painkillers. I was able to stop taking the codeine after the 2nd day and was fine with just the paracetamol. I had no bruising or drains and apart from twinges and a little swelling (to be expected) I was absolutely fine. I took it nice and easy and followed Mr Marandos' post op advice to the letter. I saw Mr Marando for my post op visits to remove a couple of stitches, check everything was perfect and I was healing as expected. Perfect. They have continued to heal beautifully and I could not be happier with their appearance. My scars have faded a great deal and will become incredibly subtle. How they have healed and the final outcome is testament to the skill and conscientiousness of a wonderful surgeon. Not only is Mr Marando a very lovely, intelligent, genuinely caring man, he also has vision and creativity which set him apart. An amazingly talented surgeon, inarguably the very best and I simply cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you Mr Marando, thank you.
