One week to go till my boob job. Currently 30 a/b. 47 years old size 8. Having 365cc teardrop under muscle negra implants to be an approx D cup. Really scared about everything the anaesthetic, the after pain everything. Presume everyone goes through this. I just want it over and done with now ......

12 hours to go!!!

In 12 hours I will be in the hospital waiting to go into surgery. Think I may pass out in the morning I'm so scared. Just put my son to bed and given him the biggest kiss !!

All done!!!

Well I can't believe I had my surgery at 10am today. Anatomical 365cc. Haven't looked yet. Feeling good no pain at all but think that's normal as still dosed up. Will post more updates soon x

Wide awake at 5am!!

I'm sat here watching tv not because I'm in pain but because I have a numb bum. Trying to sleep sat up is hard work. Can't bring myself to look at my boobs yet and surgeon had told me to keep bra on for 7 days. Don't feel like looking yet as I'm not good with scars so think I will leave for a few days. Will post picture within next couple of days x

Day 2 post op

Is the second day today after My op and I can honestly say I feel no pain just very heavy. I've been advised to come off the painkillers and start taking just paracetamol, not sure I'm ready for that yet but I'll give it a try tomorrow. I'm not ready to remove my bra yet And my surgeon did say to keep it on for seven days so don't think I'll be posting any pictures till after I've had my One week check. I have not yet done my review on Dr Marando but it's going to be a good one so I will do pictures next week x

Morning boob

Please tell me when morning boob goes. I'm day 3 post op and really struggled to get up this morning I still need help and when I did get up I had the worst morning boob. Does this go?

Feel tons better

Day four today feel so much better a lot less pressure and just taking paracetamol now. Still a little bit painful when I get up in the morning I find it difficult to sit up but that only lasts for about 30 seconds. Can't believe after what I've been through I'm just paracetamol I thought I would've needed morphine. Still too scared to look think the scars may make the feel sick so not going to bother. Don't want to speak to soon but all in all I think I'm having a pretty good recovery up to yet x

Think I'm going to love my new boobs

Posting my first lot of pics today had to do them myself so they're not from a very good angle but I've done the best I can. I'm feeling a lot better I still have morning boob which is quite severe first thing in the morning and I'm also a little bit restricted on moving my arms about I think it's just I'm scared to do it but my surgeon is given me some exercises so it's getting easier every day. Going to get a little bit more mobile over the next few days. I'm pain-free just taking paracetamol now at night time before I go to bed and when I got in the morning that's it. Fingers crossed my recovery seems to be going well.

Day 10 today

Day 10 today for me and this morning when I got up the pressure was a lot less. I'm not taking any paracetamol now nothing at all and I'm trying to be a bit more mobile. Still not back to raising my ams fully yet but I think that's more because I'm scared. My only issue now is I think I may be having a reaction to the surgical tape because the area around my incision is really itchy with a burning feeling so I'm going to see how I go over the next day or so and if it continues I will contact my surgeon but to be honest with you I do have quite sensitive skin anyway. I'm just praying it calms down and it's just heat rash.

5 week update

It's about five weeks now since my surgery and I feel fine. my surgeon has told me I can get measured now for a bra with no underwiring. I'm even going to go bra less on a night out soon the only thing is I have very sensitive nipples so I bought some silicone nipple covers and I'm going to try them and see how they go. Really chuffed with the outcome got measured today and I was a 32 D which is what I asked for and they look really natural.

Bra nightmare

I can't seem to find a comfy bra without wires. I'm not joking when I say that I've bought and returned about 8 bras as the band feels really uncomfortable. The band is a 32 and that's the size I would normally go for and my boobs ache by the end of the day. Is this normal? I've been measured at 30e and 32dd and I'm sure I'm not a 34. Any advice on bras? Xx
Manchester Plastic Surgeon

I has surgery with Dr Marando In November 2016 at the Wilmslow Hospital and it’s the best decision I ever made. Dr Marando was recommended to me by a friend who had had 2 different procedures with him. I booked my consultation and didn’t feel the need to ‘shop around’ as I liked Dr Marando as soon as I met him. I had a couple more consultations where I took my husband and scheduled my surgery for a couple of months later. My surgery was easy and my recovery time was minimal. I was really scared on the day as it was the first time I had ever had any type of operation but the staff and the anaesthetist were really nice and totally put me at ease and before I knew it I was being woken up back in my room. I had my lunch then Dr Marando came to see me and I was back home again same day. My results were brilliant immediately. If I was ever going to recommend a surgeon it would be Dr Marando. You can ask him any questions you like and he takes the time to give you his honest answer. I have had a couple of check ups and my look is so natural which is exactly what I wanted. I if feel the need to have surgery again he would be the first person I would go to, he definitely is one of the best and I have no hesitations at all in recommending him.
