So I am 4 months and 13 days post op. I would like to say a few things I never thought these things would happen to me. Well I have been weak, no energy, Had a small appetite but more for sweets : ( I havent been motivated to work out at all!!! Now that my swelling is finally starting to go down a little... I have gained about 7 lbs : ( Which makes everything else even more depressing. I am not going to stay down on myself... I am going to move on and get fit and feel alot better. I just wanted to be REAL ON HERE cause this is Realself.com not fakeself.com. real true stories from me all the way. also I would like to ask a question. Would you perfer a itsy bitsy belly button over a abnormally large one. Any one belly botton itch all the time... but it feels like the itch is on the inside and you can't get it?? my bb to me is small and many friends and family that I have shown in person have said oh my gosh your belly button is soo tiny!! Its smaller than my two daughters.. asked doc about it he says when the swelling goes down I will have the same dimpling affect that I had in my previous belly... innie they call it. anyone have this same situation?? Okay well Either way if it stayed the way it is now I really wouldnt care casue my main concern was getting rid of the twin skin. I am happy with my results that my doctor has provided me with.. I am just disappointed with myself for not being able to follow thru yet with the rest of the plan working out ... eating right.... have alot of other health problems that have come my way.... not relating to the tt surgery.... but they havent helped only have made it alot harder to get motivated. I have a week and a half left of this medication.. thats got me down in the slums.. so should be feeling better once off of it. Oh an one last thing my kids have been on this roll of messing up the house... They move soo much faster than I do these days. What I would give for my old energy I had before the surgery back!!

I am now 4 months post op feeling so great.I barley swell any more. I am still so happy with my results. I will add some more pics in a day or two.

You can also use arnica pill form I used both : )...

You can also use arnica pill form I used both : ) The pill form is nice to use right away. Now the gel helps soothe with massage. Below is my identical list of things I bought prior to my surgery. The items that I ended up not using... SPECIAL K PROTIEN SHAKES reason too much sodium!!!! I still actually have the shakes in my cupboard because even at 2 months out I cannot have too much sodium it makes you swell. The other snack I ended up not finishing and I would tell u to not even think about it is the FIBER ONE BARS they give you gas pains!!! Only slept in my recliner the first week ... but others may need longer I just wanted my bed back but still slept in the recliner position. The special K pastries apple cinnamon were a life saver in the middle of the night when you couldn't get up to get something on your stomach to take your pain pill. You can have those right by your little nightstand filled with snacks. I did eat soup the first day after the nausea wore off but I wouldn't recommend weeks after surgery because of all the sodium and swelling. Saltines crackers are life savers to for the middle of the night or for nausea or un salted. You will deffinatley need a zip up something for the day of surgery but I am sure the doc gave you all that info already. Yay I am excited for you!!! oh and i mentioned protroleum jelly you won't need that at all doc recommends bacetracin ointment. you can find in any over the counter walmart has it cheap!! I used maxi pads to cover my incision... way cheaper than gauze pads more bang for your buck!! can't wait to see your results!! also dial soap for after care it is an antibacterial body wash.
