I am over 40, both my kids are grown and no matter how hard I looked, I could not find a surgeon who checked all my boxes for an extended tummy tuck: 1) Personable and approachable surgeon 2) caring doc, caring staff 3) stunning before and after photos 4) clearly explained expectations for outcome 5) within my budget of 10-15k Dr Craig Jonov checked all those and more. I'm 27 days post op and my gawd I should have done this ten years ago!
My journey started off rough with outrageous consults with doctors that wouldn't listen to me. Once I found Dr. Jonov I knew immediately that he was the one I wanted to go with! He was so kind and patient with me and all of my questions! He listened to what I wanted and directed me accordingly but never did I feel like he was pushing me to do a procedure I didn't want nor did he push me to go bigger or smaller than what I wanted! His whole staff was warm and pleasant! Not once did I feel anxious or rushed through the process. They explained everything to me in great detail and every step of the way made sure that I was comfortable with everything. The recovery process was exactly how they explained it would be so I did not face any surprises! I felt cared for and well taken care of through the whole process, from consult to aftercare! Dr. Jonov will always be my first recommendation to anyone looking to have any work done until he retired! Thank you to all of you for everything!!
So, I'm a 31yo Mom of 3-- only birthed one, my 3 year old, nursed him for almost 7 months, before finding out I was pregnant I'd started looking into implants more seriously, had had a consult and really wanted to start moving forward, and then found out I was pregnant! I've wanted a breast augmentation since I realized that my chest was done growing, and that I wasn't blessed with the giant boob Irish genes that my foremothers were. lol. I've worn bombshell bras since high school sometimes, more than one at a time, for events like Halloween, homecoming, and while bar tending. Haha Fast forward to a point in my life where my family and I are more financially stable, my husband has had a vasectomy, so no more surprise babies, and I'm beyond ready!! The ban on non necessary procedures has been lifted in my state (wa) and I've been forced to close the salon I own, so what better time then now to recover from surgery! I'm currently a 32 "B" I put B in quotations because that's where I was before I got pregnant, and never really stopped wearing them after I stopped nursing. When I was pregnant and nursing, I was around 140lbs and my breasts went from 32B to a 32C while being pregnant. After I stopped nursing, I continued to lose weight. I've been as lean as 115, but thanks to the lock down, I'm back up to 130. With all the fluctuation, my boobs are kind of a dumpster fire of stretch marks and sadness. They most resemble an overweight prepubescent teen boys breast's. I'm able to physically transform every other part of my body to look the way I want, through diet and exercise, EXCEPT my boobs, so now I'm going in on July 16th to have my breasts done by Dr.Jonov of Lynwood/Seattle Wa. I want to go big, without looking cartoonish, and without embarrassing my almost teenage sons at soccer games. Like I want to feel sexy, without looking like a porn star. I don't want all the swelling to go down and wish that I'd gone bigger. I've attach pics of me now, and while nursing, I'll upload my wish pics also. I'm got with round saline implants under the muscle as per recommendation of Dr.Craig Jonov. Updated on 12 May 2020: Also I said I was going to do saline, but I’m doing silicone. Just got my words mixed up. My Doctor recommended silicone (which I’ve wanted anyway) because I’m pretty thin, and don’t want any ripples. But these pretty boobies are what I’m after! Updated on 27 Jun 2020: Surgery is 19 days away, and I’m so excited. My appointment to choose implants has been the most stressful part to date. I was no allowed to have anyone come with me to help me make the decision. So, my bright idea was to FaceTime my husband. Our service sucked and he couldn’t see me. so, it was all me. I showed all my wis photos to my doctor, who. Told me that my breasts are very high up, and my nipples are pointed forward and that I do not have breasts low enough to make them look like my wish photos. Except for a single photo, that I really liked.. I started trying on implants, but honestly didn’t even get close to where I’d pictured, until 50, and I finally was at 550 and 600, and knew this is where I wanted to be, but couldn’t decide. I told my doctor I w fearful I’d go through the surgery and send all the money and regret going big enough, he recommended to go with the 600s. In the photos the 600s are on the same side as my sleeve. My boobs are bought and paid for. Implants picked. Babysitter scheduled. Employees on the schedule. Everything is a go, and I am not even REMOTELY nervous, it’s ALL excitement.. I’m so ready. I’ve wanted this for 17 years. It’s about time,...
Upon meeting Dr. Jonov - I knew after speaking to him that he was the one! My surgery is set - I’ve been drinking plenty of water , no caffeine , no alcohol, healthy food and plenty of veggies . I have had multiple surgeries and when I take better care of myself my recovery seems tolerable and edema seem to be better controlled. I will keep you guys updated and pictures to come soon! Happy searching ! Updated on 22 May 2019: I had the best hands working on me- Dr JONOV worked his magic and I had no bruising on my face. Swollen yeah sure a little but no where near what I thought was gonna happen to my face ! Dr JONOV Is the only Dr you need to see in the Seattle area!
Dr. Jonov and his staff far exceeded my expectations in patient care and expertise. My goals and concerns were quickly and thoughtfully addressed throughout the entire process of consultations, surgery, and post-operative care. I have been living in Japan this past year and was able to coordinate long distance with a different time zone and a very short window of when I could be in town for the surgery. I expected the results of my “mommy makeover” to be an improvement in problem areas that had been affecting my self-esteem for years. Not only did he improve how I looked, he erased any evidence of damage to my body from pregnancies and fluctuations in weight, while making my contours appear more feminine and athletic. I am thrilled with how I look and.would recommend Dr. Jonov to anyone looking to make a cosmetic change.
I am 17 days post op today! My experience with Dr. Jonov has been nothing short of amazing. I have been wanting liposuction (upper/lower abdomen, upper/lower back and hips) with fat transfer to the buttocks for about 6 years now and have visited a few doctors trying to figure out the best options for me, and if/how they can give me the results that I wanted. I went in for my consultation with Dr. Jonov and scheduled my procedure that same day for 5 DAYS LATER. Yes, crazy I know. But I so badly wanted the procedure done and I know I found the right doctor so they were able to make it happen within 5 days! We agreed to do Vaser assisted liposuction of the areas with a Brazilian Butt Lift. The whole experience was pleasant from the pre-operative appointments, to surgery day, to my post-operative appointment. Dr. Jonov and his team were constantly checking up on me via phone call or text and I was able to ask questions and get a response very quickly. Though I am still in the recovery process, they all have been supportive the whole time. The facility is clean and comfortable, the nurses and care coordinators are welcoming and knowledgeable about the entire process. So far I’m happy with my body and I can’t wait to see the final results! Thank you Dr. Jonov and team - my confidence is at an all time high and I am so so thankful for you!!! Updated on 16 Nov 2018: I’m loving my results each and every day! I get compliments everywhere that I go, and getting a BBL/lipo from Dr. Jonov has given me confidence that I chose the right doctor. Dr. Jonov is amazing! After being a stay at home mom with 4 kids, I felt its time to reward myself. I went in for Mommy Makeover consultation and it was a great!. I was impressed with his staff and his honesty when it came to discuss my result. He mentioned I had no breast sag and would not need a breast lift, although I would need a full tummy tuck to get rid some of my stretchmarks. I am now 4 months post from my Mommy Makeover and I'm in love with the new me!
23, 135 pounds, athletic Had really bad sagging breasts, a couple years back I went to a consultation and was told by a PS that you don’t normally see that bad of sagging for someone my age unless they’ve had children. This procedure is something I’ve wanted for years and I’m so happy I found Dr Craig Jonov. He literally changed my life. Started with saggy D’s, after the lift and 350cc mod plus implants I’m probably a large perky DD or whatever the next size after that would be lol depending on the bra. I really don’t feel that big though. I’m 15 days post op. My healing process is going amazing. I already almost feel back to normal. I would highly recommend Dr. Jonov and his team to anyone thinking about this procedure.
Went in for consultation . have to have a mini lift on 1 breast also getting 400cc moderate plus profile silicone implants although now as I see more and more before and afters I really like the 500 to 600 range. . Super nervous. Dr was very nice, soft spoken and handsome I might add :-) I may just call Monday and see of I can do 1 more consult before surgery, I spent maybe 5 minutes with him but months researching. After I heard lift i assumed it would be in the 10 to 15 thousand dollar range and with 3 kids theres no way I would have spent that much on myself. Any thoughts? Surgery is in 10 days. I am freaking out ! I just want to be happy with my body. This is a terrible feeling. Updated on 12 Apr 2018: Well surgery went okay. The surgeon said i was alot more complicated than if he had done a regular BA/BL I tried to get 500cc but he wasnt able to even fit a 450cc in me so he went with 400 which i had already told him it was okay. I have been very sleepy last few days My arms are sore and feels like a elephant is sitting on my chest. My breasts look very strange and i am so scared how they will end up. I kmow they never look great after a BA/BL but i have not seen any like mone before. :/ anyways about to go rest i just wanted to give u ladies a update since i relyed so much on everyone elses post. Xoxo Updated on 12 Apr 2018: This is the before pic. Yuck. Hurts to look at Updated on 25 Apr 2018: So it feels as if it has been months. But its only been 2 weeks. I only took pain meds for 3 days and went back to work and was driving on day 4. It wasnt easy but its what had to be done. I learned at my 1 week post op visit there was complication during surgery and i almost lost my right nipple. Thats why he left some of my left nipple larger in case he had to reconstruct my right . he looked releived to see my nipple was healing . they are changing every day but still i dont see them coming together to look similar. So im thinking in the future ill probably have to get my left nipple smaller. Oh well I'm just grateful i didnt lose my right. Some days are hard to look at them. They appear to be 2 different breast it looks strange on my body. So it is what it is. Also learned i had a tubular breast. So on my left breast he cut along the gland. Heres a updated photo so i can track my progress. He purposely put my right implant much higher. So I dont know if or when it drops it will look anything like my other. We shall see Updated on 7 May 2018: Things are happening just as dr said they would. Nipples are aligning and my areola is stretching. I may see the light at the end of this tunnel. They looked so scary after surgery I just couldnt see them ever looking okay. But as time goes on they are doing what surgeon said they where supposed to do. So I am now hopeful they will come out okay. Updated on 18 May 2018: Here it is 5 weeks post op. Still healing. Looking better every day. Nearly every day I wake up they are different. Updated on 8 Jun 2018: well here I am 2 months post op. things are going well. although i can currently feel the implant in my left breast its a bit " bubbly" not noticeable to the eye so much . my surgeon had to release my gland because it was attached to my nipple? maybe i am reiterating this wrong . I feel great still just noticing changes every day. i am just so relieved at how they look now compared to after surgery. it wad SCARY lol. happy healing ladies ???? Updated on 15 Jun 2018: thought this may be comforting to any one out there who just got surgery. or may be going in soon for surgery. it's a long process but once you start seeing some results it's worth it ! Updated on 24 Jun 2018: just trying to keep track of my progress. 14 weeks post op i beleive Updated on 13 Jul 2018: here I am 3 months post op I see one nipple is slightly larger than the other and a small indent on left breast ( my left). surgeon had to cut my gland since it was tubular? I am happy at where i have come. but I am thinking of asking for it to be fixed if it doesnr settle into place what do u ladies think?
I had such an awesome experience within Dr Jonov and the Allure Esthetic team! They made scheduling work for me when I was busy with college, and always answered any questions I had. I love my results and couldn’t have had a better experience !
Hi Tessalyn, My recommendation following lip filler is to massage for three minutes, three times a day, for three days. If the lumps persist, you may be a candidate for hyaluronidase, depending on what filler was used. If the lumps do not resolve, I would give your injector the opportunity to correct this. Hope this helps, Craig Jonov, MD
Hi There, Typically Botox begins to take effect within a few days, with full results at two weeks. I usually have patients set up a follow up appointment two weeks post injection to ensure the target areas were treated appropriately and any concerns are addressed. I do recommend treatment every 3-4 months, with no limit to injection count. Hope this helps. Craig Jonov, MD
Hello, Botox is a neurotoxin indicated to prevent and or minimize lines and wrinkles by temporarily relaxing the muscle. Without out photos, it is difficult to give you a definitive answer, but from your description Botox or Dysport would give you the result you are looking for. I do recommend seeking an experienced injector. If the problem is deeper, however, involving skin texture and tone, laser may be an option. Best, Craig Jonov, MD
Hi There, Botox and/or filler would not be a solution for you. Botox would not lift this, as the unintended effect is actually a droopy eyelid caused by improper injection. A surgical approach would give you the results you seek, though not necessary. Hope this helps, Craig Jonov, MD
The cost of Botox and other Botulinum Toxins in the Seattle area can vary anywhere between $10-$16 depending on specials and average cost. Many charge by unit and on average patients receive anywhere from 20-60 units every 3-4 months. Generally 30-40 units per treatment is a very common range to receive treatment anywhere from the forehead area, glabella and crows feet. If it's your first time receiving this sort of treatment, look for offices who offer a complimentary consultation so that you can get an idea of how many units will be required to achieve your desired results and you can be prepared for the cost. Depending on the Botulinum Toxins offered by the Doctor or practice you are seeing, there may be introductory pricing and/or a rewards program to offer additional discounts.
