Post Hair Transplant- Scalp Micropigmentation- a Nice Way to Optimize Results

I am 52 years old and had significant hair loss on the top and brow hairline a year ago. I had a hair transplant at New Hair Institute with Dr. Jae Pak in June of 2016 and I was really pleased with the experience overall and with the results. Dr. Pak explained thoroughly that the initial results would take about six months to show with the full/end result being in place at approximately one year. We discussed at the time of the hair transplant consultation, that, given my age and stage of hair loss, I might want to circle back post transplant and have scalp micropigmentation (SMP) to make my results look even fuller. While I couldn't be happier with my hair transplant results- I have a full head of hair, I can dive into a pool or step out of the shower and not feel self-conscious about having to comb-over before anyone sees me- at my age and stage, there is still general thinning all over the top of my head so SMP made sense to me. I am not 2 out of 3 treatments into my SMP and the results are great. I was a user of Topik hair building fibers pre-transplant and still used it a little post transplant to even things out as I healed/grew it- but the SMP make this less and less necessary. Overall, super easy procedure, excellent service and I am super happy with my results. Jae Pak is great.
