45-50 Year Old with Thinned Top and Crown. Los Angeles, CA

I have had thinned out hair at the crown , top and forehead for the last ten years. I tried a lot of medications like Minoxidol, expensive shampoos and even Propecia years ago with little to no result. This year, I did more research on hair transplants as I was convinced this was the only way to go and so I went to two other doctors for consultations before coming to NHI for a consult with Dr. Pak. The consultation with Dr. Pak was supportive , educational and validated my decision on hair transplant and the best method for my situation, which was strip harvesting. Dr. Pak did not seem rushed in answering my questions, concerns. He was very professional , answer every question in detail and I felt what he presented was realistic, honest and what is the best for my thinned out head, NOT necessarily what might be best for the office's bottom line, as I felt at other offices. The office staff is very friendly and positive. This was the deal clincher and so I scheduled for the procedure before leaving as I was confident this office was the one for me. Also, what helped in my selection was Dr. Pak was co-author of the book Hair Loss and Replacement for Dummies and has many years experience in transplants.
