I struggled to find recent reviews of Mr Lahoud...
I struggled to find recent reviews of Mr Lahoud and Transform before my op so I am writing this to help anybody considering an operation with either party.
Mr Lahoud
Overall, I feel that Mr Lahoud is a very competent surgeon and would recommend him to anybody considering a rhinoplasty operation. I met with two doctors at Transform and felt that Mr Lahoud gave off a trustworthy confidence that the other did not. He certainly has considerable experience in rhinoplasty and appeared to be more of a specialist in the procedure than the previous doctor I met with. Although neither doctor spent very long with me, Mr Lahoud at least took pictures of my nose and briefly talked me through the procedure he would be performing. He is a good surgeon and the nose he has given me is definitely a better nose than I previously had. I asked for a very subtle change and he has certainly achieved that, even close family members and friends are still completely unaware I have had anything done.

I would have liked it if Mr Lahoud had spent a little longer discussing what I liked and disliked about my nose with me as the meeting did seem quite rushed. He tends to talk over you a bit which often distracts me and meant that I sometimes forgot to ask questions I had been meaning to ask. If you are going to see him for a consultation, I recommend booking one in the day time as from my experience he seems less pressured than in the evenings when its busy (and he probably wants to go home for dinner). For anybody meeting with him in the future, I recommend having a very clear view of how you want your nose to look and bringing pictures to demonstrate how you want it to look. I don't think I spent enough time doing this to my own detriment. I had thought that what I did not like about my nose was its length but now I realise the length suits me and it was actually the tip I didnt like.

Transform
Overall, I would recommend Transform to anyone considering rhinoplasty. As a patient, I was very well taken care of. The room I stayed in was very clean and the food was almost as good as a hotel. Nurses were very friendly and on call throughout the night. I felt very safe as a patient there. Their coordinators are easy to get hold of (though I did find mine was less interested in getting back to me once I had actually had the operation) and I was able to book an appointment with the surgeon with ease. They also ensure that you are in full health before the procedure, even sending me off to get tested for a condition I had as a baby to ensure there are no complications with the surgery. The cost of doing this is included in the overall price you pay.

The biggest fault I have found with Transform is the fact that they do not provide computer imaging. This not only makes it more difficult for you to communicate with the surgeon exactly what you are after, but it means you face more stress after the procedure waiting to find out what your new nose will look like. This aspect caused me a tremendous amount of stress and I would have felt much more confident about my outcome had I been given an image. If you are considering going with Transform, I would recommend going to another company first to get a computer image and taking it to the surgeon at Transform. Another con is the lack of contact with the surgeon after the procedure. You meet with a nurse to have your splint removed and while I found them to be competent in doing this, I did feel that my nurse lacked people skills and on occasions was unable to answer my questions.

I am still undecided as to whether I am 100% happy with my nose but I think this is more down to my uncertainty as to whether I actually should have had it done in the first place. I didnt have a bad nose beforehand (it was a bit long) and while I have only had very minor changes done to it, I am not sure that those changes actually suit my face. This is where I feel computer imaging before the procedure would have been helpful in helping me to gauge exactly what I didnt like about my nose as now I find myself missing the length and actually wishing I had just got my tip refined. It has only been 4 and a half months so I will wait to see how things progress as time goes by.
