I had Juvederm XC performed in the US in May 2014 and the results were excellent. When I returned home to the UK I wanted just a little more as the right side line on my face was more pronounced and not quite as full as the left.

Now, not only is there a hard line lump of filler that can readily be felt under the skin, it appears that the physician injected the filler next to the nasolabial fold rather than into the fold (if that makes sense). So it looks like I have a worm under the skin now next to the fold.

I know that the filler will eventually and naturally dissolve so I'm not worried about having it forcibly dissolved but I am perturbed as to why this may have happened and why there are still lumps.

Is there a big difference between the XC and Volift? (I didn't think there was) or is it a case of physician error when performing the second round of treatment that I had in October?

The lumps have gone done a lot since the 24hrs after first injection but now they seem "stuck".

I was very happy with the results in the USA and perhaps should have asked her for more at the time but my second treatment I'm not impressed with :-/

I'm wondering whether to see a doctor in Sydney when I pass through there next week...?

Dr was lovely and kind but I'm wondering if his technique is not that advanced.
