Having recently undergone surgery at LBPS I felt that I really must add a review. Service levels today across virtually every sector are woefully low and I think many of us have come to accept it as the norm nowadays. Just getting to the right person is often difficult and the chances are that you will have had to fight your way through an array of recorded options before actually speaking to a human being. Time after time, I have had to chase people several times just to obtain a quotation and this is often followed by ongoing poor customer service and an outcome you often feel that you have had to battle to achieve. Considering the above, it was a breath of fresh air to deal with Dr Inglefield and his team at LBPS. I had wanted to get a tracheal shave (Adam’s apple reduction) for some time and actually received a recommendation from another surgeon unconnected to LBPS. From my initial phone call to the clinic, right through to post surgery, the service levels I have received, have been absolutely excellent. When I first called, the phone was answered within a single ring and I was offered a choice of appointment times that suited me. My initial consult was with Dr Inglefield and Phyllis, one of the nurses. I was seen on time, had the procedure fully explained to me in an unhurried environment and picked up there and then that these people cared about what they did and how they did it. I had received an email by the time I got home confirming the things that we had discussed and my quotation was received the next day. In a particularly nice touch, I received a card 48 hours later from Phyllis thanking me for attending the consultation, supplying me with her email address and assuring me to make contact with her should I have any further queries over the coming weeks. Given the above, I didn’t even think about speaking to anybody else and had booked up my surgery later that week. My surgery went particularly well on the day and was followed up by my Manual Lymphatic Drainage appointments. These were carried out by Lynsey and I felt that these were particularly beneficial and were all part of the package that LBPS insist on. It has only been 11 days since my surgery; however I can honestly say that I am already delighted with the results. Whatever way you look at it, surgery is a fairly big deal, but I knew from the outset that I was in safe hands and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Dr Inglefield, and Phyllis and Lynsey were both stars! It won’t be the last time I use LBPS.
