Update on search for a new surgeon.

Hi

I am considering visiting a ENT specialist and getting some advice. Also I have had fillers done and they did work well. However I have concluded that, my primary rhinoplasty (5 years since ) has caused allot and still visible scar tissue on one side of my nose and each side of the nose has a different profile with one side looking (curved nose bridge and upwards rotated tip)

Considering steroid injections as that may reduce the scar tissue. (Please advice of any information about this and which doctor might perform this)

I shall keep you all updated as my GP is referring me to an ENT specialist and might look into local surgeons.

Revision Rhinoplasty consultation with Dr Lucian Ion and Dr Greg Bran update

people
I would first like to apologise for the delayed feedback to my consultation.
In my defence I need time to think over and put my thoughts together.
So I turned up to the consultation early the door buzzer was not working and it being a Saturday it got me very confused as to why I was not getting allowed in and definitely did not want to be late for my consultation after paying £400 consultation fee.
Somehow the door opens after 20 minutes of being stressed out calling the clinic number and ringing the door bell with no response. Anyway I walk inside and I noticed a Guy crying and pushing past me, I tried to get his attention but he seemed far to stressed.
The receptionist was lovely I was not impressed with the clinic layout but that’s besides the point.
Consultation time.
My overall consultation lasted for 50 minutes. Both Drs were present Both were very polite and well mannered. I did find Dr Ion’s A little nervous but I was a little unsure maybe that might be his normal persona.
Pictures were taken and questions were asked as to how and what I feel is wrong with my nose, how I would like to improve on overall appearance of the nose etc.
Both Drs did a check up of the nose etc. The overall consultation went well. However all throughout the consultation Dr Ions did all the talking and showing of photo illustration s however Dr Bran was quite and did not have any input at all, other then just being present(personally it would have made no difference if he was not in the room). Maybe Dr Ion likes to take lead, but sometimes it felt almost scripted but then again it might just be is way of coming across.
I was happy about what was discussed during my consultation and the results that could be achieved to improve on my nose.
I was then taken back into the reception desk and was told to wait for a written quote.
Quote,
Revision Rhinoplasty cost £15000 and if I was to get a chin implant total cost would be £20000.
Overall £15000 is rather expensive for Revision Rhinoplasty I recall reading reviews of people paying no more then £6000 for the same procedure as mine.
To me it felt almost to mechanical and money focused which they have evey right to be. But for me having gone through a very bad first experience and being taken for a ride I have become very cautious.
I still need more time to think over things, and possibly one day return back for a second consultation with the Drs, but for now I am staying put.
Please feel free to ask further questions I shall be happy to answer.
Wishing everyone all the very best may you all forever keep smiling (Amen).
