10 month update

If anyone wants to ask me any questions or directly message me in private, I am happy to help as much as I can!
For a very short time of tightness and discomfort, and an odd lisp for around a month, this was a walk in the park!
It has been 10 months since my exhausting journey over to lithuania (I wish they had direct flights from home) but I am very happy. Family say they can't see a difference, but why would they? They never sat and studied my face hours on end like I unfortunately did from a young age, before I avoided looking at my face because it bothered me so much (still does, but that's not my chin causing the issue) - but I notice a huge difference and I LOVE it! Quite funny since the surgery I have a little phobia of the implant moving and falling down and had quite a few bad dreams about that happening, because it isn't screwed in but attached through sutures inside, but it hasn't moved yet, touchwood haha! This is one of my questions for my post op check, maybe my only question because I am happy with everything else. I have been invited back but cannot go back as of yet due to the inconvenience of flights etc. P. S I have gained a LOT of weight so my cheeks and Jowels look podgy from the front, so didn't bother including a photo from that angle. I need to diet and exercise, but my chin still looks great even with the extra chub! I cannot wait if I actually manage to lose the weight to see how awesome my jaw line will be! 10/10 for my surgeon, hands down!

Update before and after

Still on day 10 post op, but found this before image. Uber happy with this!

I have scribbled over my images for privacy...

I have scribbled over my images for privacy concerns, though you can see exactly the changes made.
The reason I went for a chin implant was due to the irreversible changes I made to my body post childbirth. I was the very slim and athletic body type before becoming a Mum, very little body fat and good muscle tone, and I was happy with my face and body. Since the extra 2 stone of weight being my new 'normal' and not being able to make changes to the excess fat all around my stomach and body, after intense exercise for weeks and losing an extra stone, I still had the excess fat and wobbly saggy shape. So it was figured this would not disappear with diet and exercise alone. My chin also has receded as I have gotten older, with me having fairly strong features my chin has began to get lost and my face size is not balanced.
I had consultations for liposuction to my stomach, hips and also chin implant/lipo to my chin. I did, however chicken out of the body surgery at this time because I was afraid of the intense recovery time (also I needed another £1500-2000 which I'd have had to have borrowed, so overall not ready for that surgery). So ahead with the chin implant I went, to make me happy (or at least slightly) to look in the mirror in the mornings and not hide away because I can't stand the sight of myself. The body can be fixed later in time! :)
I thought the surgery would be a dawdle as it is only a small incision under the chin, but in fact it was fairly painful and uncomfortable for the first few days after, and now 10 days post op I am starting to be able to speak a bit better and it is all still a bit tight around my mouth and chin. However I think I have healed fairly quickly and with less discomfort to others. I had to travel to have my surgery, but part of me thinks this was always going to be the best idea, even If I had tons of money, the doctors here do not have my trust. Overall, I would say this was a good idea as already with all the swelling I still have, I am happy with the shape and size. I had a small implant, silicon. I am happy to answer any questions if anyone is thinking about it.

I corresponded with the surgeon and his assistant before surgery by email - everything was clarified before I got to Lithuania, I had full explanations of what would happen, what needed doing before I arrive, before surgery etc. My surgeon spoke perfect English, considering I got lost the morning I was arriving for surgery (thanks taxi driver) and there was no one around who spoke English to help me find my way (it was a hospital complex block, everything is sign posted in Lithuanian) my surgeon actually stayed on the phone with me while I worked out where I was and simply guided me where I was meant to go - is that service or what!? The morning I arrived the kind nurses took me for blood tests and showed me to my room. The surgeon gave me a thorough consultation before surgery commenced, I was comfortable explaining what I wanted and was also explained what type of implant was being used, how it was going to be fitted, the recovery, everything else I needed to know. The hospital staff practiced good hygiene, everything was very clean. I had a kind anaesthesiologist who spoke English, made me feel comfortable and I actually enjoyed being put to sleep because it was relaxing not stressful even though I was scared to begin with, but was put at ease. The nurses took good care of me when I woke, allowed me to sleep and fed me twice which I really needed! My surgeon came in and spoke to me after surgery, explained things again to me regarding recovery, told me to let the nurses know when I felt ok to go back to my hotel, they called a taxi for me and walked me out to the taxi. I had a phone call from my surgeons assistant to check up on me and see if I needed any help when I was back at the hotel which was a good touch. I also kept in contact with both my surgeon and his assistant via email before and after returning home, they answered any questions I had. Their service surpassed the treatment you would get in most private hospitals in the UK.
