It's been 2 months since my surgery with Dr. Dainius Daunoravicius and I can say that I am very happy to be in the hands of this particular surgeon!!! The result even exceeded my expectations. First of all, I had consultations in other places and Dainius was the last one I went to (I waited a long time to get an appointment and for good reason), the consultation with this doctor was times different from my previous consultations. The simplest thing: even the number of measurements of my breasts was many times more than in other clinics. I immediately felt that this was a professional. I went into the surgery without any fear, knowing that everything would be fine. We chose a volume of 245 ml, anatomic, under-breast suture. I thought more volume, but the doctor discouraged me, saying that I was skinny and had a very narrow chest and the risk of stretch marks and contracture of the implant was also present (I have very little subcutaneous fat). Doctor, thank you for talking me out of doing more, thank you for your professional opinion!!! The stitches under my breasts are very small, I can't see them at all right now. The surgery was a success! I absolutely love my breasts. Throughout my rehabilitation, the doctor kept in touch with me and answered all my questions. Liposuction and fat transfer breast augmentation under general anaesthetic, with Dr Dainius Daunoravicius, at Clinicus in Vilnius, Lithuania. Dr Dainius Daunoravicius is the best surgeon I’ve known, and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.I had this operation a year ago, and I’m very pleased with the results. The surgery felt safe, there were no complications, the healing was straightforward and fast, and I have virtually no lasting marks or scars a year on.The increase in size is more subtle than implants, but I was expecting this. I’ve attached pictures. I’m in my mid-40s, and I’ve had a couple of similar liposuction procedures with different surgeons in the last ten years. Dr Dainius stands out as having the best aesthetic judgement of any surgeonI’ve met, and being the most careful, skilled and trustworthy.It has taken me a year to write this review, partly because I wanted to be sure about the results and partly because after about 3 months (around the time I stopped wearing the compression garments), other things in life took over, and I didn’t think about the procedure much. I got used to my new shape, and I didn’t have to spend a moment worrying whether the incision marks would heal well, or obsessing over any complications or imperfect results.The healing was so straightforward that I didn’t have to have any lymphatic drainage massage sessions or even wear special plasters on the incision marks. Everything healed naturally, without any worry, effort or input from me.I’m slightly underweight without much fat to spare, so the results aren’t dramatic, but there’s definitely a difference. Dr Daunoravicius injected 120cc into each side. I understand this is quite a small amount compared to the average for this procedure, but thankfully, once the initial swelling had gone down, most of the volume remained.Before the operation I was worried about the health implications of fat transfer to breasts and I almost changed my mind about going through with it. Dr Daunoravicius was very reassuring. I don’t understand the science of how it works, but what I can say is that I didn’t experience any pain or bruising in the breast area, and I haven’t experienced any lumps or calcifications. The liposuction was also straightforward. At first there was some bruising, swelling, mild discomfort and numbness in the donor sites (abdomen, waist and inner thighs), but this was entirely expected and these things went away after about ten days. I was warned that I might feel a ‘woody’ sensation in the donor sites for about six months. I did experience this in my abdomen (I’d describe it as a feeling of tightness in the tissues under the skin), but it was mild, and I felt confident it would go away. After about five months, I realised that the ‘woody’ sensation wasn’t there anymore.I did a lot of research before deciding on this procedure. I chose fat transfer because I liked the idea of natural-looking results, and I didn’t mind that the volume increase would be more subtle. I looked at many posts on Real Self and other sites before choosing Dr Daunoravicius. One post that had an impact on me was by a doctor and was about plastic surgery in general. The advice was that the choice of surgeon is even more important than the choice of procedure. We live with our bodies and live with the results, and the outcome of the same procedure can be quite different depending on the surgeon.I see a good example of this when I compare my incision scars from a liposuction procedure I had ten years ago in London, to the tiny dots left by Dr Daunoravicius. The ten-year-old scars are still very visible (indented and about 5mm wide), whereas the tiny dots faded to being practically invisible within about six months. I already have a lot of little scars and stretch marks, so I wasn’t too worried about that aspect of the surgery. Anyway, the lack of even the tiniest lasting visible mark was a bonus that I was of course delighted with, and I mention it here because I think it’s an illustration of the surgeon’s skill and care.It could be that Dr Daunoravicius uses a new, more advanced liposuction method. If so, I think that’s also a sign of a good surgeon – one who keeps up with the latest developments in the technology – and also a good clinic.My experience with the Clinicus practice as a whole, including top customer care from Anastasija and Gabriel?, was excellent. Dr Daunoravicius has also been the best at follow-up communication after the surgery. He is the only surgeon I’ve known who I feel I can absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend.I gained a small amount of weight (around 1 1/2 kilograms or 3 pounds) in the months after the procedure, which has probably enhanced the results shown in the pictures. But I think the results would still be visible even without the slight weight gain.
Hi Ladies I would like to share my breast augmentation experience with you. I underwent a breast augmentation with Dainius Daunoravicius last week. I’m 27years old 173cm/66kg small B cup. I flew from Helsinki to Vilnius on 17th-19th of December 2018 I had live consultation on 17th, underwent surgery on the 18th and on the following day I flew back home to Helsinki. I contacted Dr Dainius Daunoravicius about breast augmentation back in June. I wanted him operate on me since I had great experience with him. He had operated on me twice before (done liposuction, scar revision, fat transfer, filler, Botox etc.) During an email consultation I asked for bigger implants with a natural profile and Dr Dainius suggested me Motiva Ergonomix implants. It was my first time hearing about Motiva. I actually made some research and got very excited after reading about it and decided to have Motiva implants. When It came to the size I didn't know what to choose. Doctor mentioned if I want too big implants they would not fit my natural breast pocket unless He lower it and makes a new breast pocket. So we choose to use my natural supportive breast pockets. I trusted Doctor enough to let him choose the size of the implants for my frame. During email consultation Droctor wanted to know data of my current implants before choosing a new implants To tell you a little bit of my history. I had my first breast implants 5years ago in xx clinic. The tricky part I lost the ID card of the implants which contains all data my Droctor wanted. Since I could not provide Dr Dainius had to guess. I remembered I got Allergan Natrelle silicone round implants. Maybe ~175cc size When it cames to size surgeon gave me honest opinion of what was achievable without lowering my breast pocket. We did consider of 300cc-335cc-355cc. Eventually Dr. Dainius ordered me 3 different implant sizes. Updated on 28 Dec 2018: To start I almost missed the consultation because apparently I ended up in a wrong place. The consultation supposed to be in the Clinic office at 4pm but for some reason I went to the hospital. Do not ask me why. Doctor was just leaving the hospital when he heard that Im waiting for him so he came back. Eventually we ended up having consultation in the hospital. During the consultation, we did talk about the following day, implant sizes and He took breast, chest, torso measurements etc. Updated on 28 Dec 2018: I had to show up at 7am at hospital to take needed lab test, to get prepared and to meet Doctor before surgery About the Clinicus vilnius team there is one nice nurse (Brunet woman= I didnt ask her name)I dont know if she remembers me but Its my third time seeing her. The nurse does not speak english but she is super LOVELY. She did prepare me for the surgery in the morning Updated on 29 Dec 2018: After waking up from anesthesia, I was awake, but very sleepy still During operation my body kept warm, so I did not lose any heat. Waking up from the anesthesia warm blanket on me made my day By 5pm before a meal Doctor came back and did check on me. He explained me the surgery in details. I did get 335cc implants and used original incisions(transaxillary insicion)I was surprised to hear, firstly my ex implants where size 210cc not 175cc as I thought. Secondly I had capsular in my right side breast without knowing about it. I was at risk of getting seroma without having sympthoms of capsular. Im delighted my ex implants were removed The surgery went well I did not have major pain nor major swelling. After I felt better I letf the hospital on the same day. Im wearing Marena surgical bra. I should wear them 24/7 for many weeks. The bra is supporting but not comfy. Updated on 29 Dec 2018: The next day I flew back home. Doctor gave me aftercare instructions, medications: sleeping pills, antibiotic and different pain killers for one week. I have dissolvable stitches and healing is going smoothly. My experience with cosmetic surgery is that it could be very difficult to find surgeons who listen and understand what the patient actual wants, who answer all the questions patiently and in great detail, and deliver results. Dr Daunoravicius was just that, unlike many other plastic surgeons I had encountered previously. I was researching breast augmentation for over a decade before making a very careful decision to do it here, and I'm glad I did. I have no regrets in choosing him as my doctor for this procedure and my whole experience was a truly positive one. I was afraid to get unnatural fake-looking result and I was very nervous. My mind was put a peace few minutes into the first consultation. Dr Daunoravicius has an excellent aesthetic judgement, he is calm, focused, realistic, and not conceited. He and all the staff were very attentive and made me feel safe. I know I will be back there in the future and I could not recommend Dr Daunoravicius any higher.
I have scribbled over my images for privacy concerns, though you can see exactly the changes made. The reason I went for a chin implant was due to the irreversible changes I made to my body post childbirth. I was the very slim and athletic body type before becoming a Mum, very little body fat and good muscle tone, and I was happy with my face and body. Since the extra 2 stone of weight being my new 'normal' and not being able to make changes to the excess fat all around my stomach and body, after intense exercise for weeks and losing an extra stone, I still had the excess fat and wobbly saggy shape. So it was figured this would not disappear with diet and exercise alone. My chin also has receded as I have gotten older, with me having fairly strong features my chin has began to get lost and my face size is not balanced. I had consultations for liposuction to my stomach, hips and also chin implant/lipo to my chin. I did, however chicken out of the body surgery at this time because I was afraid of the intense recovery time (also I needed another £1500-2000 which I'd have had to have borrowed, so overall not ready for that surgery). So ahead with the chin implant I went, to make me happy (or at least slightly) to look in the mirror in the mornings and not hide away because I can't stand the sight of myself. The body can be fixed later in time! :) I thought the surgery would be a dawdle as it is only a small incision under the chin, but in fact it was fairly painful and uncomfortable for the first few days after, and now 10 days post op I am starting to be able to speak a bit better and it is all still a bit tight around my mouth and chin. However I think I have healed fairly quickly and with less discomfort to others. I had to travel to have my surgery, but part of me thinks this was always going to be the best idea, even If I had tons of money, the doctors here do not have my trust. Overall, I would say this was a good idea as already with all the swelling I still have, I am happy with the shape and size. I had a small implant, silicon. For a very short time of tightness and discomfort, and an odd lisp for around a month, this was a walk in the park! It has been 10 months since my exhausting journey over to lithuania (I wish they had direct flights from home) but I am very happy. Family say they can't see a difference, but why would they? They never sat and studied my face hours on end like I unfortunately did from a young age, before I avoided looking at my face because it bothered me so much (still does, but that's not my chin causing the issue) - but I notice a huge difference and I LOVE it! Quite funny since the surgery I have a little phobia of the implant moving and falling down and had quite a few bad dreams about that happening, because it isn't screwed in but attached through sutures inside, but it hasn't moved yet, touchwood haha! This is one of my questions for my post op check, maybe my only question because I am happy with everything else. I have been invited back but cannot go back as of yet due to the inconvenience of flights etc. P. S I have gained a LOT of weight so my cheeks and Jowels look podgy from the front, so didn't bother including a photo from that angle. I need to diet and exercise, but my chin still looks great even with the extra chub! I cannot wait if I actually manage to lose the weight to see how awesome my jaw line will be! 10/10 for my surgeon, hands down!
