“The WORST Decision of my LIFE.”
I decided to do my “360 Lipo BBL” , with Dr. Enrique Hanabergh, Jr. The whole experience began on the wrong foot. I went into surgery between 6-7pm and didn't make it to the recovery home until midnight. So I was basically the last case of the day. The following day I reached out to Dr. Hanabergh, to tell him that my right buttock felt abnormal to the other one. He advised me to “Add extra compression by adding more foam inside of my faja, and after that everything went down the drain, (LITERALLY). I will be posting a picture journey of everything I went through, in stages, until now. Please keep in mind he works at another location as well (New Life), but this procedure was performed at his private clinic.I ended up experiencing a massive infection that then turned into necrosis. A 5in hole on my right buttock that has turned into a big thick keloid scar. It seems like when he was transferring the fat he went so aggressive that I ended up with a ball on my left buttock, that now feels like the size of a baseball. I also experienced 3rd degree lipo burns, on my stomach, sides, and buttock, that have turned into keloid scarring and discoloration. The discoloration on my side, stomach and buttock is 10x darker than my natural skin tone. I now also have fibrosis on my stomach due to his aggressive lipo. I also still have back fat rolls that are uneven, which seems to be what others have complained about, (uneven lipo).
I have posted photos so PLEASE look at them over and over again, before you decide to go to Dr. Hanabergh for a 360 Lipo BBL surgery. I don't want you to end up being what he refers to as “A One in a Million case”. I have been depressed, hiding and not living my life since.I have been on depression and anxiety pills, continuously seeing doctors till this day. During all of this I was in contact with Dr. Hanabergh and he was well aware of what I was experiencing. He himself was prescribing me the antibiotics for months. I wasn't able to sit down for months, because I would leak fluids due to the infection. Which then led to me not being able to work for months. I went back and forth with him. He told me to wait a year until I fully healed so that he can do a revision surgery. Me giving him the benefit of the doubt to correct what he did, I allowed it even being all botched. Let's say he did the surgery all over again and NOTHING changed NOTHING! He was incompetent to fix me and will never be able too. He’s explanation was that “ I was a One in a Million case”. He repeatedly mentioned this to me.
Since he could not fix what he did. He had his attorney draw up a 5 page “Release of Claims and Confidentiality Agreement” form. Basically, asking me to sign my rights away, shut my mouth and accept $10,000, which i didn't because it wouldn't be enough to fix me or help with the treatment of all my keloid scarring. I'm not looking to get rich off of him. I just want him to take accountability for his actions and pay for my revision surgery, refund me my money and assist with the treatments of my keloid scarring. Now that I can handle my depression and anxiety better. I want to take my life back. I reached out to Dr. Hanabergh and his attorney so that we can come to an agreement, but I have yet to hear back from them. I'm using every social media platform, so that Dr. Hanabergh can own up to his actions, take accountability and not write them off as a “One in a Million case”.
