Update

It's been a good 6-7 months since I had my surgery so here's some updated photos. I have no makeup on at all so this is just how my scar looks, it is basically undetectable in my opinion but will continue using the scar treatment cream on it and massaging. My lip line is slightly darker as like I've mentioned previously I had lip liner tattooed on a few years back and my lips have also never been symmetrical so this wasn't caused by the surgery. This was honestly the best decision I've ever made to have this surgery, and even with the rough recovery I'd do it again but honestly I was glad I got it done during a time we all wear masks! Meant I could walk around whilst it was healing or pop to the shop.

3 months

So this is three months healing, measuring at 12mm. Really happy with the result and it's given me so much more confidence, looking at my before picture I can see how much of a difference it's made to the whole lower part of my face but Without looking like I've had 'work' done as it suits my face and is in proportion. Whilst my new lips might not be big in comparison to the current Instagram aesthetic, they are big compared to what I had naturally, and I haven't been tempted to put filler back in them which is a big step forward for me as I've been getting filler for nearly 7 years. I'm booked back in February 2021 for a final checkup (wasn't expecting this as thought I would only get the two id already had) so I will update again then. But my nostrils haven't changed shape, I have no obvious scar and I'm happy with the result. Just want to point out too that my lips have never been symmetrical, so the asymmetry you see isn't due to the surgery but was something I'd always had.

Day 13

For some reason my photo didn't upload with the update below, but this is what I’m looking like plus very dry lips! Will post again in a few weeks once I can see some real progress but I’m really happy so far with how the team at Purity Bridge have handled my aftercare.
