lip lift w/dermal fat graft less than 2 weeks!!!

I have already submitted a very lengthy review of my lift and fat grafts, but wanted to show JUST a before and after shot. I'm about 2.5 months out. As you can see it is NOT a huge difference, but an improvement overall. I finally can wear red lipstick again, although took some time learning how to again. I feel great now, I'm more approachable, and it was definitely worth scouring years on RealSelf to find and follow Dr. Mascaro for this procedure. The dermal fat grafts gave me the foundation that would not have other wise had without. In the future if I decide to have fillers (w/Mascaro of course), I will be in a good position to have excellent results. In addition, this procedure was an excellent first step before I get into face lifting which I'd like to prolong for at least 5 years. This in my opinion has take years of my face and positively improved the way I take care of face, neck and chest.
A side note, some days my lips look perkier, others not so much, I think because of stress. I am very conscious about not clenching my lips together but occasionally catch myself "pursing" them.

So I’ve had a popped stitch on both side and you can NOT tell. Less is more ladies. Don’t aggravate the incision. Contact mascaro and he will tell you EXACTLY what to do.

Excuse the very red and shiny face. I’ve been a nut exfoliating and using peels and whatnot trying to reduce sun/age spots. Today I removed I believe the last of the sprouting stitch so that last little bump will be gone shortly. Smile is loosening up. Figured out how to apply makeup again (less is more and stay away from the cracks)! I’m enjoying all this now with more confidence and looking forward to doing another skin treatment with mascaro in the future. Maybe next year. Peel around nose/mouth/jowls. I hope all my fellow lip junkies are experiencing the same improvement and positive feelings! Quite the roller coaster but patience IS a virtue!
