Pre Op Lip Lift

Here are more pre op. I have never really had much of an upper lip and its so nice now to put on lip gloss. My nose may be next on the chopping block since it seem to look larger since surgery although it was always a bit bulbous.

One month Post Lip Lift

At one month I'm surprised there is still so much pink. The site is numb and stiff but the shape is lovely. Subtle and pretty. Nostrils still larger, hopefully they will settle but I'm happy with the decision to do the procedure so far. Interesting to have young lips but a 60 year old skin. Now I'm considering other treatments to help my poor old skin get with the program.

Healing

Still tight and tingling. Not able to cover the scar enough to feel comfortable in public yet so I wear a mask. Stitches came out on day 6 and it feels so much better. Still using ointment and taking Tylenol. Hard to smile - only soft foods feel safe. As far as the overall process, I am beginning to see the end of the tunnel. I'm wondering if I should've had the corners lifted as Dr. Fechner suggested. He said I can do it later (said it is much simpler that lip lift) but wants to wait to see final result in 6 weeks. What do you think?
