Definitely improved the look of my face and also I look 5/7 years younger

One day I woke up and I realized that what had been bothering me for a while when looking myself in the mirror was the distance between my nose and my upper lip that had increased through the years, and changed for the worse the proportion of my face. I didn’t want to fix the problem of my lips with fillers because my lips are not thin and they would not look natural using fillers. The other thing that was bothering me was the corners of the lips that were starting to droop, giving a sad smile. I understood pretty soon that the only solution was a lip lift surgery. My big concern was that it would come out bad and/or I could be left with visible scars. I started searching five years ago for the right surgeon and very soon realized that the only answer to my plan was Dr. Miguel Mascarò. Covid slowed down my plan but eventually in June I was able to visit and on July 20th had the lip lift surgery. I liked Dr. Mascarò immediately, not only for his kind manner but also because he was very clear in explaining the procedure and the pro and cons. Due to my concern about the chance of visible scars at the corners of the mouth, we abandoned the idea of the extended corner lip lift, and decided to proceed only with the lip lift. I trusted him and his experience to decide how much to reduce the distance between nose and upper lip.
I have to say that I was anxious before the surgery because It was without sedation, with only local anesthesia, and still nervous about the post op swollen lips, and the risk of scars. I have to say that everything went very smoothly. At he end the procedure I had two small injection of Kybella that in few months should improve the corners of my lips. Like a swiss watch, at 10 am I was done and out of the clinic. No pain at all thanks to the local anesthesia, but even more surprising there was a minimal swelling in the lips in the following days. I love the result; it definitely improved the look of my face and also I look 5/7 years younger. Tomorrow I have to remove the stitches but I would say that I do not expect to see any visible scars, from the photo you can guess that something has been done under the nose because there are the stiches. But 5 days after the procedure the swelling is practically all gone. My hope is very high that no visible scar will result from the procedure.
