It was a success - zero pain, little downtime, perfect results

Hi, thank you for the compliment. My lip lift procedure was pain free. The only "pain" I felt was the initial sting from the local anesthetic but even that was minimal. I started to feel an irritated ache at the points of injection probably around post-op hour four. The underside of the top lip started to ache around 9pm of day one. I didn't have much pain during recovery unless I tried to wipe or blow my nose, but even then the pain was minimal. I also had to wear a silk mask during work hours because the paper masks irritated and rubbed against the sutures.
I didn't feel as if the sutures would ever come apart or "rip", Dr Balikian did an amazing job bringing the incision together without tension. I used a silicon ointment on the incision line. I used it everyday and as often as I could remember. I believe that this helped to keep the scar invisible. The office sells the ointment and I 100% recommend it.
I don't remember what the procedure cost but I do know that Dr Balikians total cost is competitive compared to other local surgeons. You can schedule a consultation where he will go over all details including if you are a good candidate for the procedure.
