The best doesn't mean the best for everyone

Where do I begin? Let me start by saying Dr. Todd seems like a nice guy and his staff at EGA Medical have been accommodating for the most part. Unfortunately after multiple bad experiences with him, I'm forced to write this review. I went in for my first consult in Sept '18 initially for botox since I saw his work on Instagram. He does great marketing might I say. He also suggested touch up on my Voluma I had done a couple months prior. I've also always had an interest in getting a lip filler and figured I'd try that as well.

Dr. Todd did an excellent job with my botox, especially around my eyes. I would recommend him for botox to anyone, especially those new to botox. Now why I'm writing this review, my lip filler experience with Dr. Todd has been HORRIFIC, PAINFUL and TIMELY. To date, I've now spent $4500 with EGA Medical and still don't have even lips. I've had to purchase not 1 but 3 syringes so far, 1ML in Sept '18, .5ML in Dec '18, and 1ML in Jan '19 that have cost me $2100 with STILL UNEVEN lips! Even better my lips are now worse than my first and second injections with him. Am I being scammed? Because at this point, I feel straight robbed. Not only of my hard earned money but also of my time. I've had to go back to EGA Medical, EIGHT times now, yes EIGHT to attempt to get that perfect pout. After my first injection, my right upper lip was very overfilled and my lips were uneven. I had to go back in October three separate times to dissolve filler in hopes to even them out. Finally they were near perfect until December rolled around. My teen sisters noticed that my right upper lip was deflating! Yes deflated (pics shown). It legit only been 2 full months since Dr. Todd injected 1ML of filler in my lips. So I had to go back in after the holidays to touch up that side up. Since only my right side was affected, I only needed .5ML at this time. And unlike the entertainment visitors Dr. Todd sees, my touch up was not free. Even better, three weeks later and AGAIN my right upper lip and now my bottom left lip are over filled! Seriously!? I look like the Joker! Is this a joke or is this just an inexperienced injector?

I just went in for the eighth time this week in hopes to get even lips since I've spent so much time and money with Dr. Todd I figured it would be an easy fix and free. Nope, this time not only was I not allowed to purchase just a .5ML syringe when I was told by Rose all I needed was .2ML. I was forced to buy another 1ML syringe if I wanted to even my lips out. I did and .2ML was added to my left upper lip and the rest to my smile lines. As you can guess, today I remain with both an over filled right upper lip and left bottom lip still! You can only tell I got some filler in my left upper lip due to bruising.

I finally felt the need to write this review after calling EGA Medical today to tell them I'm unfortunately still left with completely uneven lips on both top and bottom. After being placed on hold for a few minutes, Jason informs me Dr. Todd doesn't have openings for the "services I require" until late the following week. Seriously? I just spent $1400 in the last three weeks with EGA trying to fix the problem Dr. Todd has created. WOW, great way to treat your reoccurring customers who have spent almost $5K with you in 5 months. Let's hope I come out of the appointment next week with even lips and never have to step foot in his office ever again.
