Hi everyone! I’ve seen so many review here for the best maxillofacial surgeon in the world, but for some reason some patients are very dissatisfied, for me at least, the surgery went just great and the outcome I received is just as I expected.
I want to start with a little background. I’m American Asian of Chinese origin. Both of my parents came to the US in early 90th and here’s I am! I’m almost 26yrs old fresh graduate from Seoul University. I came to Korea in 2017 as an exchange student and loved this country so much, that decided to stay here. My previous surgeries experience. I had chin implant back in 2014, 2 facial fat graftings in 2018, eye surgery in early 2019 and finally – V-line with zygoma reduction this September. As you already understood, I was kind of experienced in Plastic Surgery, so finding the right doctor wasn’t a big deal for me. Btw, my chin surgery I got at another place and was very dissatisfied with the result – too pointy chin with wide jaws and cheeks didn’t actually look nice. I’m not afraid of surgeries at all and perhaps some people would think that I became kind of addicted to it but I think that if I don’t feel happy enough with my face now, why I can’t change it? And if it brings self-satisfaction, why should I to listen to others?? The most worth-to-mention part from my consultation is the time, when we discussed discount options. I’ve some people writing about additional discount for paying with cash, well for me it didn’t work out. In reality, they’d offer you a 20% discount if you make a deposit and book you surgery date in advance and +5% if you give your permission to share your before&after on their Instagram and FB. For me it was pretty nice deal, as we didn’t talk about few hundreds, it was about few thousands! I’m very organized person, so when I was scheduling my consultation and already booked my surgery date, so was lucky enough to proceed it in the morning next day after my consultation. Btw, make sure to discuss the surgery day if you are coming from another country and don’t really wanna waste your time as, from what I understood, Dr.Oh’s schedule is always fully booked few weeks ahead. So, on the day of the surgery I was asked to come an hour earlier in order to have enough time to prepare all documents for my surgery. After signing everything, I was headed to 14 floor and shown my recovery room. I was escorted by the consultant every time wherever I went. I do know Korean but still was offered an English-speaking assistant to make my staying at Regen as comfortable as possible. The recovery room I was given was pretty nice. With personal TV and a locker inside. Once I entered my recovery roo, everything was already prepared for me – clothes were on my bed as well as slippers. I was given some time, to change my clothes and put all my staff into the locker. The assistant then asked me to wash my face and showed a fridge with cold packs inside saying that I can use them myself whenever I want after the surgery. Few minutes later we went 2 floors down to the operation room. The first thing I remember about it – everything was green! Nurses were pretty nice and kind with me, they even made few jokes when found out that I can speak Korean.Every step that was done before anesthesia shot knocked me out was announced by a nurse, like now we’ll insert the needle, now we’ll connect the device, we’ll tie you up to the operation table, we are now going to inject the anesthesia and my assistant’s last word – good night! Waking up was very brutal. Had terrible headache, felt very sick and dizziness. A nurse kept saying “open your eyes! Everything is finished! Open your eyes!” The first thing I wanted to do was to touch my face, but for some reason I couldn’t move, as my hands were still tied up. Once I could keep my eyes open I was wheeled back to my recovery room. A nurse from the operation room was changed to a nurse who takes care of patients after the surgery. I was very thirsty but a nurse said that I can sip some water only 4hrs after. My throat was also sore and she said it was because of the tube I had during the surgery. I felt sick for a good 3hrs and headache stayed till next morning. I totally forgot about ice packs but the nurse brought me one, reminding me that I can change them as often as I want. After she brought me some water I felt a bit better, could stand up and go to the toilet on my own. I can’t say that was able to sleep that night as was very afraid to move to sides because it wasn’t allowed. The next morning assistant woke me up for Dr.’s checkup after that I was discharged. The first few days at home were the worst. I was very swollen, although I didn’t feel terrible pain but had lot of discomfort in doing absolutely everything. I couldn’t eat for few days as opening my mouth was very difficult due to excessive swelling. I was told that can come for lightning everyday if I want which I actually did and it really helped a lot. By week 1 swelling gradually went down and by week 2 I almost looked like a normal person and by month 1 swelling was minimal. The assistant mentioned few times that I was very lucky as usually swelling remains for few months, guess it because I really like walking and tried to drink lot of water as was instructed. I still can’t eat whatever I want but trying to exercise my jaws several times every day. I’m in states now, came last week for Christmas holidays with my family, will go back to Seoul in the end of January and will definitely visit Dr. Oh. I’ll upload an update once I found out everything about my healing and what Dr. Oh thinks about my result. So far. It’s been 2 months already and I feel great!

Hello everyone! It's been a bit more than 4 months since I proceeded my surgeries at Regen with dr.Oh and I just wanted to upload some of my recent pics to show how my results look now. I'm very happy and beyond satisfied. I think it was the best decision ever!

Dr. Oh is horrible. I am suffering from daily migraines and electrical shocks to my temple. He also ruined my partners face. We lost 35,000 to him not including damages. We didn't need these surgeries and neither did you
