Ugh...

So I've kept the site open looking forward to my one year update. Yesterday I was sent a couple of videos and I am truly shook. All this time, I couldn't pinpoint or blame Dr. Boutte or her office for the life threatening Staph infection I received. Well now, after seeing these videos, I can say that sterile protocol isn't kept as it should. I am in disbelief. I have a ton of scar tissue, and unevenness and hella scars.. Now understanding this all could've been prevented. I am extremely upset.

4 months post op/3 months after compression..

Slow and steady but I’m making progress. I bought a tighter garment from Leonisa 2 weeks ago. It’s tight but not uncomfortable most of the times. This one tends to ride up in the vag area. However, my natural waist is down to 30 1/2. I took these photos this morning after taking off my garment to hop in the shower.
I still swell a lot. I thought by now it would have subsided. Nope. But other than that, I am doing well. Eating better and trying to get this water down.
You can see the incision scar from all the surgeries to remove the infection. Its raised a little on one section. I guess the scar is keloiding in that area. Other than that it’s all smooth and smallish.
It’s all pretty acceptable to me given everything I went through. The only part that’s irritating is the little pooch in the middle and this FUPA! Ugh

Update

I’m feeling a lot better, working out more often. Working on my diet otherwise I’m doing really good.
