Life-changing Double Eyelid Surgery

I had a stitching blepharoplasty or known as double eyelid procedure done in Jan 2021 by Dr Jonah Kua. Credibility: If we would like to choose a surgeon to do a certain procedure for us, choose a specialist who does that particular procedure very frequently. In this case, Dr Jonah is a reputable Plastic Surgeon who performs plenty of double eyelid surgery. This is important because the doctor has plenty of experience to handle adversity, possible complication & to ensure the safety and success of the procedure. He was highly recommended from a friend who's working in the same healthcare industry as him. Character: Dr Jonah is a friendly, approachable, patient, professional and knowledgeable doctor. You can imagine he is like your cousin whom you can chit chat with during CNY gathering. During the consultation, he takes time to discuss the details of the procedure and informing the patient what to expect, and take the route best for the patient. Dr Jonah is patient and attentive to patient's need and I do not feel the consultation is being rushed through. Peri-op: The whole procedure took less than 2 hours and it went smoothly. Dr Jonah's technique is very good, precise, skilful and quick. I did not feel pain or discomfort at all during in the entire procedure. Basically, I only need to turn up, lie down and trust the doctor do his work. Dr Jonah would adjust how the stitches will be done, based on the patient's eye muscles, fat layer, angle of the lid to give the best outcome for the patient to look beautiful. Post-op, the local anaesthesia wore off and the eyes were in pain for only 1 day but taking painkiller helped. The eyes were swollen for a week but the recovery period was fast without complication. Outcome: My double eyelids look very natural that people cannot tell at all that I had a procedure done. Having double eyelids have enhanced the overall look of my face. Everybody has been telling me that my eyes are very attractive and captivating now. Before that my single-eye lid made me looked fierce and like not having enough rest every day. It is a life-changing experience for me as eyes is the first part of face feature people look at.
