Truly Life-changing! (Breast Reduction/lift)
WORTH IT
I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Wolfe and the attention and care that was given!
I initially had a consult with Dr. Wolfe for a breast reduction/lift in 2012. At that time I was still trying to decide on a surgeon, as well as being extremely afraid of having the procedure done. I knew that he was very experienced in that area, so he was always top on my list. I had many other consults with other surgeons in and out of state because I wanted as many opinions as I could get. None of them made me feel as confident and comfortable about having the procedure done as Dr. Wolfe. I can't believe I mulled it over for 10 more years! I know, insane, but this was a huge decision for me and I was nervous. I wanted to be sure I was making the right decision. I'm an overthinker, on top of being a perfectionist. I wanted to be sure I was going to have great results.
I finally decided to have a 2nd consult with Dr. Wolfe February 2022. At that time I knew that I needed to have the procedure done. I was extremely saggy, as well as being very large (size 36 H). Being only 5'3, that size was way too big for my frame. They literally covered my whole chest and abdomen. It was always a pain trying to get myself into a bra or swimming suit, and I knew that with each coming year they were only going to get worse. I was hanging all the way down past my belly button at that point and my back and neck were screaming at me.
I spoke with Dr. Wolfe about my expectations, and we both agreed that it was the right decision, and that we would have really nice results. He showed me a few cases that were similar to mine and I was very impressed with their results. At that time I knew it was time to finally get on his schedule! I booked my surgery that same day for (August)! Everything was explained to me by his assistant and I was able to ask as many questions as needed on how to prepare and what to expect.
On the day of my surgery I arrived I was taken back to visit with the nurse and start my prep for the procedure. Everything was explained and I was able to meet the anesthesiologist and Dr. Wolfe to have a quick chat. Everyone was professional and friendly. Lights out...
My surgery went well! I was given a phone number for the nurses if I had and questions or concerns. My husband was there to pick me up and everything went extremely smooth. I did end up having the drains, but it wasn't as big of a deal as I thought it would be. I followed the directions I was given. I was able to text the nurses with questions and pictures. I was always answered promptly and reassured that everything I was experiencing was normal. Luckily I have an amazing husband who made sure I was taking my medication on time and helping me measure/empty the drains - I had them removed 5 days after. The nurse removed the tapes from the incisions and replaced them with new ones. No pain, just a little soreness underneath the breast area. I wore sports bras for the initial healing time - about (4 weeks). I took half baths in the bathtub, then eventually moved on to regular showers. I was careful to keep everything extremely clean. Once I removed the tapes and the wounds were completely closed, I made sure to keep everything hydrated with Polysporin and Cereve Healing Ointment. Everything is healing beautifully and there are no lumps/bumps. All of my incisions are flat and super thin. No silicone strips were needed! I will probably donate the silicone strips to breast cancer patients.
My husband and I keep looking at them in complete amazement! My breasts are so symmetrical and perky. I look better than I did in my 20's - 47 now. My nipples are a normal size and the shape of the breasts are absolutely beautiful! My husband and I both had an awkward/happy cry in the bathroom 3 days after my surgery. We couldn't believe how good they looked, and I was only 3 days out.
It's now been 8 weeks and everything continues to heal nicely. I had my Post-Op with Dr. Wolfe and we are all pleased that everything is healing properly and that I had no complications.
Dr. Wolfe is a true artist when it comes to achieving a beautiful and healthy result! I'm in complete amazement at how lovely they look! I never imagined I would have this great of a result! I am now a (36 D-DD). I can't wait to see what my final results will look like after 1 year of healing!
I highly recommend Dr. Wolfe for a breast reduction/lift to anyone that is struggling to make a decision. You won't regret it!
*I will update another picture August 2023.
