I've always kind of struggled with my weight and after gaining 80 pounds with my 1st and only pregnancy, I was doomed to have the yucky stretch marked belly forever. Then after the C section it left a nice pooch that I could never get rid of no matter how much I worked out. I'm tired of centering my wardrobe around my tummy always trying to hide it! I've lost 50 pounds going from 200 down to 150 and have crept back up the passed couple months to 170. I went to my consultation Dec 15 and scheduled my surgery for Feb 6th which is coming fast! My doctor told me to lose as much weight as I can before hand so I've been eating clean and working out like crazy. Seems to be working. I'm going with Dr Eric Ashby in Layton Utah. He's an amazing artist! I had a breast lift with augmentation done by him in May of 2013. I've healed beautifully since then and his after care has been wonderful. I've recommended him to all my friends who are considering plastic surgery. Right now I'm going through all the usual emotions of guilt, fear, and regret for spending so much money on myself, taking 3 weeks off work, and putting myself through so much pain just to look better. You know what? I think I deserve it! I'm a hard working mother who takes care of my family so why wouldn't I give myself a gift? I'm having a full TT with Lipo of the flanks, waist, hips, and thighs. Woohoo! Only 17 more days to go...

Went in for my pre op two days ago and everything is set to go down on feb 6th! Aaahhhhh! The anxiety is killing me. I'm having a full tt with Lipo on flanks, waist, hips, and thighs. I'm getting excited because I've managed to lose 18 pounds since my consultation and my dr was super happy about that. He took a look at my boobs and said they have dropped a little. So on feb. 19th in going in for an internal breast lift with some Lipo on the back. I got my prescriptions, recliner, and a huge list of stuff to watch on Netflix for the 3 weeks I'll be home. I'm kinda worried about the pain.... but as long as I keep on top of it I know I will be ok eventually. He says I will have two drains on for at least 7 days and I cannot shower until they are out! I'm gonna be smelly. I really hope all this will be worth it.... bikini here I come! Yippee!!

That's awesome! Good luck with the surgery, I'm sure the weight loss will help you get the results you are after.

No. I times it just right so that I was starting phase 3 five days before my surgery. I didn't want to be taking any supplements that would interfere with the surgery.

I've got one more hour before my trip to the flat side! I can't wait! I've got my healing station all prepared with everything I need... I hope I've got everything anyway. If not I'm sending the kids and husband out for it because they love me! I'm not looking forward to the pain but if I do what I'm supposed to as far as medication goes, then I'll be fine. I just need to be patient with the healing process. Anyway, wish me luck girls!!
