Bizarre Experience
I had a truly bizarre experience at The Medical Skin Clinic. I rescheduled a prepaid appointment at the last minute and the staff would not allow me to rebook the ~$800 service. The spa policy contradicts itself and in one location stated I could rebook and in an other that I could not. I tried to discuss the situation with the owner and she became very emotional. She lobbied personal insults and took on a bullying stance. I stated I was extremely unhappy with my experiences and wouldn’t hesitate to share (pretty expected after treating a good client really poorly). Bizarrely, Missy scheduled multiple “meetings” with me and the practice manager on conference call—again, I’m a paying client. They tried to compel me to sign a non-disparagement agreement to continue with already-paid services?? They also called me repeatedly. It felt personal, bullying, and harassing. It was truly such a bizarre situation. I’m happy to find spa services elsewhere. The RNs and staff were all sooo lovely—it’s too bad their boss is slightly unhinged.
