WORTH IT
I've been very lucky to cross by this site, it has helped me tremendously. So today, I've decided to post my recent experience in hopes to do the same for others. My first BA was July 2015, had 650cc silicone high profile from mentor over the muscles. I was originally a size 36c and that brought me to 36DDD. LOVED THEM!!! In August I had a car accident, and the seat belt messed up my left breast, so I had to go in for removal, replacement and repair. Since this needed to be done, I decided to also get a lift!
Question was.... what size can I fit now? I love my DDD, but with lifts, your chest tends to accommodate a smaller implant than before. So I left my fate in the hands of my Dr. Stephen Miller.
My surgery was today, not gonna lie, I woke up IN PAIN! Begging for more pain meds... 3 hours post surgery I was better, and have been since. Itself now 11pm!
So my Dr found that the "ultra high profile" are smaller in dimension (2cm+) and bigger in projection, so not only he managed to keep my 650cc, but he gave me more projection!!!! I'm sure I'll love them!!!!

It was a good night overall, kept waking up every hour or so, pain under control with meds.
Saw my doctor this morning and being that I had surgery less than 24hs ago, I'm very happy so far. The lift of course comes with all those stitches that are not so pleasant, but over time they will get better!

Sorry to hear about your accident. Glad you're okay and that you're able to get your revision. That's great you're able to get the lift too...I bet you'll love it once you're healed. Hang in there with your recovery and feel free to join the February 2016 breast implant revision forum for some additional post op support. ;)

Slept a little less, the day of surgery, 1st and 2nd day post-op, I think I pretty much slept all day!
I was able to get up more, go downstairs and have breakfast and lunch with my family and got back in bed, read a bit, watched TV, etc. Overall feeling much better, did not take any pain meds, and my breast seem to be looking better as well... still asking myself if they will be as big as before...!!!!

Hi there, and welcome! Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. I hope you'll get lots of support from the community. I'm glad you're happy after your accident. Was your revision more painful than your first procedure?
I would say no, it is not worse, I strongly believe that what bothered me this time was the incisions from the lift. Other than that, I had no pain on my nipples or breast, at all!!!
