How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Cellfina NIGHTMARE
My treatment was actually done by Kim Nguyen at Dr.Lane Smiths medical spa Chic La Vie.
I want to warn people about this procedure and this place for several reasons.
1. Professionalism
- Kim made me feel uncomfortable several times, her office lacked the cleanliness and organization you would expect to see in a medical facility. She has an awkward and discomforting bedside manner. She was defensive towards me when I expressed my concerns and stated that the pain I experienced was "just because I have a really bad tolerance for pain" and that she never saw someone have scarring like mine before.
Even if both are true, I never felt comfortable or comforted in my pain during the price or my disappointment afterwards and left feeling helpless and hopeless about my results.
2. Pain
- I was told there would be MILD discomfort, this procedure was extremely painful, even with vallium and fentanyl I was in so much pain during the numbing I was in tears and almost stopped the procedure because it hurt so bad. It was the most physically painful thing I've ever experienced.
3. Results
- I was told that by the 3rd week I would see a majority of the results, with continued progress up until 3 months. At 6 weeks I see very little, almost NO results. I am 28 years old, 125lbs and had moderate cellulite. The before and after speaks for itself. On top of the fact that I still have the same cellulite I had before the procedure, I do believe it is in fact worse now, because at every single incision point I have a dark hyperpigmentation scar. The aesthetician I spoke with said even with the most advanced scar removal treatments I will most likely only see a 50% improvement.
I just wanted to warn people. Every review I found before I did this treatment was positive and I had almost no concern. But I am not happy with this procedure at all, and I would not recommend it because you cannot be guaranteed that this won't happen to you.
