I am in the early stages of the breast...

I am in the early stages of the breast augmentation journey. I am near the end of my graduate school program and I want to do something nice for myself. I've discovered that I shouldn't be embarrassed or shy about having BA. I'm excited imagining how nice I will look in clothes and bathing suits. Sometimes I worry I will regret it for some unforeseen reason, but then again maybe my biggest regret will be never trying at all. Anyway I've had one consultation and I have another one scheduled in a few days.

Found a surgeon
I've had two consultations and hours of online researching (stalking?) and I think I've decided to go with Dr. Hankins. I say think because it's Friday and I've had all day to call in and schedule a surgery date, but for one reason or another I got too nervous. I will call in next week though because I will find more relief in deciding on a surgeon than painstakingly picking through little details. The truth is, I've never thought too much about my breasts. It's an area of my body I ignored because they were too small to make an impact anyway. I never thought of them as being wide set or having a deformity. I started this process just wanting them to be bigger so why this obsession with making sure they look like those photoshop VS pics anyway? I'm going to move forward with the mindset that my breasts are fine just the way they are, but they're a little smaller than I want. Feel free to let me know your thoughts :)

We have VERY similar body types! I went back and forth for a while and had 2 different consults and was hesitant to book my surgery. However, when I had my second consult I knew that I wanted to have it done and immediately booked! I go in on March 17th! Def do what you feel comfortable with. I too never really took time to pay attention to my boobs bc they were too small. If you feel like you want it then go for it :) Do what will make you happy!

Your surgery is so close!! Isn't it a relief to have it set in place? Happy St Pattys day to you! Haha I'm getting closer and closer to booking my surgery date. I know I want it done in June. Since we have similar body types I will have to check back in with you after your surgery to see what size you ended up with and how you're liking it. So exciting!!!!

It truly is! June will be great gives you time to prepare :) and yes! I will prob post some pictures of myself when I get a little closer to my surgery date...I'm hoping to go from 300-350cc whatever looks normal on me. I'm hoping for the hourglass figure too! just want proportionate body, nothing too crazy. Just natural. Best of luck & I will keep up with your journey :)

Scheduled my appointment
I submitted my deposit and scheduled my appointment for June 28th! I'm excited to have finally made the plunge. I'm honestly pretty nervous about it too. I'm kind of like "holy s$&@" this is real now. I'm trying not to let all the worries about what could go wrong seep into my thoughts. If anyone has any kind and encouraging words, it is much appreciated!
