I had eyelid surgery 10 months ago. One eye looks good but the other doesn't. They look nothing alike. I've never had this kind of surgery, so don't know how other doctors do it, but it seems to me that there should have been some kind of measurements done. All she did on the day of surgery was mark my eyes with a marker, while I was laying down and after I had already been sedated. This doesn't seem like the correct way to do it, to me. Also, didn't even she her on my follow up visit, seen a nurse (I'm assuming). Anyway, I am not very impressed with her skills or bedside manner.

Sorry. Same thing happened to me. And it's not right!! Lazy and negligent is what they are. The almighty dollar...Thank you for you review. Putting these surgeons names out there that don't care enough to put the time and effort into what could be a beautiful work need to be exposed for what they are. Thanks again.Take care!

Dear djb, I am sorry your experience was frustrating. Every single patient is marked and measured PRIOR to sedation by the surgeon herself. Often patients like yourself have bony and other asymmetries that lead to things looking different on the two sides. While these can be addressed with additional surgery, Botox, or fillers, insurance does not cover any part of that. We would be happy to evaluate you at your convenience for any of these options. We do have a very busy surgery center as many surgeons operate in the same facility. Please call as at your convenience and we would be happy to evaluate.

I would hope the doctor would agree to do the eye you're not happy with over again at no charge. No one expects to have two different looks on one face.

I have surgery scheduled in 2 weeks and I am very nervous seeing this pic of two clearly uneven eye lids. Dis the doctor fixed your eyelids to correct this sad outcome? Thanks

I agreed have to get measurement, I have same experience as you, the surgeon just draw my eye fast, then now I got 1 eye rounder, 1 eye longer. I don't believe if doctor said because "bony" cause asymmetrical, they just tired of work, & do botched job, Good surgeon should very careful, measured, and take time. Now Dr. Mahadjer only recommended Botox, fillers for her messy work.
