Traumatizing Experience

I've had a concerning experience with Dr. Jochen regarding an inappropriate use of Kybella injections. On February 11, 2025, I consulted about minimal festooning under my eyes. Despite the condition being barely noticeable according to the attending staff, Dr. Jochen recommended Kybella injections for this delicate facial area.
Following the procedure, I experienced severe complications:

Significant swelling and bruising that persisted for three weeks
Permanent alteration of facial contours
Development of hollows under my eyes due to irreversible fat dissolution
During my follow-up appointment on March 31st, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the results. Rather than addressing my concerns directly, Dr. Jochen proposed additional paid treatments while offering to waive the fee for the initial procedure. No apology or refund was offered.

As a 74-year-old patient who trusted Dr. Jochen based on previous positive experiences, I feel compelled to warn others about this dangerous misuse of Kybella. The procedure has permanently altered my appearance, creating hollows that cannot be reversed. This experience highlights the importance of thoroughly researching both procedures and practitioners before undergoing cosmetic treatments.
