Kybella - So far, so Good (and some Tips to Try)

It's been about 24 hours since I had two vials of Kybella - at this point its impossible to say if it was worth it, will try to update later, but I wanted to share my thoughts and suggestions on the procedure itself. I think my swelling and recovery has been relatively easy here, so hopefully this helps if you are about to give it a try. I am not a doctor and am not giving any medical advice, here, either, so check with your doc before trying any of this (I just did a lot of research on line):
1. I took Zyrtec the day before and the day of my treatment.
2. I took Motrin a half hour before the injections;
3. I had ice on immediately before (no numbing cream or anesthesia),put ice on right after, and kept it on for most of yesterday.
4. I also bought an Ace bandage and wrapped my head like some kid who had a tooth pulled - looked ridiculous, but it felt good to have the chin area compressed slightly.
5. I bought Arnica cream (for bruising) and have been applying every few hours.
I just took a pix of me 24 hours later and it is definitely less swollen than right after the procedure, not nearly as bad as I was expecting. It doesn't hurt, is just a little tender and you do feel jiggly as others described. But I think within a few more days I will look pre-procedure.
The shots themselves hurt less than Botox in my opinion, I only felt a few of the sticks. But I did start to feel a sort of internal sting as the injections were going on - I would rate it a 2 or 3 out of 10, so again, way better than I was expecting. I also think my doctor and his staff made the experience as easy as possible, so that helps.
Of course, I am hoping to get away with just this one treatment, but as I have researched this further, that sounds unlikely to really get the result you want, so be patient and realistic. My doctor said not to think about follow up treatment until week 8 or 9 (which I am really hoping I don't need - I don't have an obvious double chin, more like my side profile was looking too mushy for my taste).
I will post photos when I get farther along into my recovery, but so far, its going better than I hoped - oh, and right now, there is a 100 coupon on line if you Google "Kybella coupon" - hope that helps!

I am almost two weeks out and so far, so good i guess. Its still too early to tell how well it worked but i wanted to add a few observations. First, after the initial swelling went down (3-4 days), i definitely developed more of a turkey gobbler neck. The good news is that i am pretty sure i can feel less fat there, but the skin is just saggy and its still swollen. If u push your head down to make a double chin its pretty gross so im trying not to do thay. I also triied to go jogging around day 5 and literally felt my neck flapping. That seems to have gone away, but it still feels sore to the touch still and I still think looks a little worse than pre injection but at this point i am probably the only one who notices that. I had an event last night and was a little self conscsious so i would reccomend at least 3 weeks before you have something where you want to look your best or at least your old self. But it is clearly doing something there....

So it's been about 7 weeks since I had my first Kybella treatment and I am very happy with the results, though sadly I will probably have to do a second treatment to get the full effect I want (I know it was unrealistic of me to think I could get away with 1 anyways). I was surprised at how long I felt the lump and tingling under my chin, it's about 95 percent gone now. But it was worth it overall in my opinion. You can see from the before and after there is a visible reduction of fat and a little tightening of the jawline with just one treatment. I still feel a little saggy under there hoping that gets a little better in the next few weeks.
Thanks for offering so many details of your experience! What was the purpose of Zyrtec beforehand?
