Outstanding Upper Blepharoplasty Eyelid Surgery Performed by Dr. Villanustre at Reflections in Tarpon Springs- I've always had hooded eyes, and didn't mind them too much-But as I aged (63) the skin above my eyes had gotten thinner and saggier. My lids had become so heavy that they were sitting on my eyelashes. I also felt like I looked tired and angry most of the time, even with a full night's sleep. So I began to research -Reading every review I could find and asking experienced professionals (spa where I get my injectables) and found that there was a plastic surgeon nearby who was an expert in this type of surgery. I wanted to look refreshed, but not look like I "had work done". I met with Dr. Villanustre at Reflections* St. Luke’s in Tarpon Springs and found him to be honest ( forthright with options) patient with my questions and listened to what I wanted.I decided to have the surgery at Reflections- During the upper eyelid procedure, I was comfortable and comforted by his assistant-nurses*and with the local numbing shots I literally did not feel a thing. I was relaxed enough to respond to the Dr. through the surgery and Once the surgery was complete, I was given full instructions for aftercare-There was oncall staff (thanksgiving weekend too) if I had concerns.I was red and slightly swollen and a had a small amount of pain for a day but Tylenol and the Rx eye cream helped a lot. It has been one week since surgery and had my follow up visit- My eyes look fantastic and am so appreciative of Dr. Villanustre and his staff who have made me so happy with my eyes.
My experience at Reflections at St. Luke's was exceptional. Treated cordially by staff and Dr. Villanustre. Plan to go back for anything and everything. From the moment I arrived, to completion of my surgery, was made to feel comfortable and important. Found the staff to be totally professional and the Dr. to be knowledgeable. Answered all my questions to my satisfaction.
After menopause, my breasts grew in size to a whopping 38DDD! Finding a good supportive bra was difficult and most blouses would gape open at my breasts. Not only that, my breasts were heavy! It was hard to maintain good posture. They made me feel old! Of course my husband loved my large breasts, but at the same time he wanted me to be more comfortable. So, I found Dr. Villanustre and his team at Reflections at St. Lukes. Dr. Villanustre has excellent credentials and is highly recommended in the Tampa Bay area. They saw me right away-no waiting; Dr. Villanustre made me feel very comfortable and at ease as he examined me and provided his recommendation. He explained his approach to breast reduction and how he would lift the breasts. His nursing team were equally friendly and knowledgable. Dr. Villanustre and his team made me feel so confident, I scheduled my surgery that day for 3 weeks later! On the day of surgery, I think the hardest part for me was all the measuring and marking the Doctor had to do before the surgery, although the Doc and his team did their best to make me comfortable during the process. Then I was off to surgery and woke up a new woman! The post op care was excellent! The pre-op teaching was outstanding so I knew exactly what I needed to do when I got home later that day. I had a small drain at each breast sutured in under my arms. I really did not have pain, but the areas around the drains were tender and sore. I could only sleep on my back and that was difficult since I am a side sleeper. But following the nurse's advice, I took the pain med before I went to bed, and that helped me sleep the first 2 weeks. Doc checked my twice during that first 9 days post op and the drains were removed on the 9th day post op - thankfully!! Those drains really were irritating and probably the worst part of this whole thing!! One thing to note though- I work from home and so I was able to go back to work on day 3 post op! I did not need to take the pain med doing the day but did take it at night as I said before. So now, I am 2 weeks post op, my breasts are still swollen along the outer sides and under my arms and the steri strips are still on my incisions. I do shower daily and the strips have gotten really sticky! I had to remove them from the incisions under my breasts just yesterday which was the 2 week post op mark. I will try to keep the other steri strips on the nipple area and down the center of the breast as long as possible to reduce scarring. I have started applying Vit. E oil to the old drain sites to help with scarring. Now, my breasts feel a little tender at the end of the day and throughout these 2 weeks I have felt tingling sensations in both breasts. It is not painful just different- Doc and team state it is tissues healing. I go back to the Doc in 2 months for post op photos. So now until then, my breasts will continue to heal and the swelling will go down so I can finally see the beautiful work Dr. Villanustre has done. So far even with the swelling, my husband and I already think my reduced and lifted breasts are beautiful! Also, I have good feeling in my nipples which is wonderful as that was a concern! So yes, I will be 63 years old in June and my new breasts make me feel 40 again - the way my breasts used to be! Today my neighbor even said I look 10 years younger! I hope my report/review will give you the confidence to make the decision to go forward with your surgery. If you live in the Tampa Bay area, I highly recommend Dr. Nickolas Villanustre and his team at Reflections of St. Lukes. I am very, very happy with my results so far!
The team at St. Lukes is simply incredible from the moment you walk in you see the difference between a cheap cosmetic center and a truly luxurious double board certified surgeons office! The staff are super friendly and attentive. If i ever find myself needing any kind of cosmetic surgery i will 1,000% be going back. My before and after picture will literally make your jaw drop! After years of hating my post pregnancy/breastfeeding breasts, i made the decision to get a breast lift with augmentation. I saw 3 different surgeons and they all said the same thing "You have a very difficult case" Dr. Villanustre stood out to me because he wasn't giving me false hope or telling me everything i wanted to hear. He was very honest about what my body could handle and how my results would look. The other surgeons were willing to put implants too large for what my body could handle (probably hoping i would go back in a year to get another lift due to them being weighed down) it was a tough pill to swallow going with a "smaller" implant (i say smaller because i had no idea that they really do look different on everyone) but i am so incredibly happy i did! I went with my gut and picked a Dr whos credentials you simply couldnt over look. Dr. Villanustre is absolutely incredible! He gave me upper pole fullness and lots of volume. His technique and attention to detail gave me results i NEVER could have imagined! I cant express enough how grateful i am. 2 days after surgery i saw my new breasts for the first time and they were HUGE compared to what i was expecting (lots of swelling obviously) but if i would have went to anyone else i would have gone too big and wouldnt look proportioned with my frame, i got exactlyyyy what i wanted with the size he picked. I heavily depend on reviews and research things to the fullest extent when making a large purchase or big life choice and im so happy i went with my gut! If you dont believe me, schedule a consult and ask to see my before and afters that alone will seal the deal. Best investment i could ever make. I have my confidence and mental health back!
I'm a 45 year old with full lips but very concerned about the lines around my lips. Just had this done. With numbing cream and ice it wasn't too painful just a few sticks that made me wince and tear up. The lidocaine in it works so well when my Dr. made a few touch ups i felt nothing on the second pass. Overall im very pleased - my lips are just a tiny bit fuller and still swollen in my after pix but those damn smoker lines are almost completely gone!
I went to Dr. Villanustre for an evaluation of my droopy eyelids- I was experiencing vision loss. He was understanding, kind & took the time necessary to answer all my questions. I had blepharoplasty surgery, along with fatty tissue removal & a browpexy (droopy eyebrows) eight days ago, & I couldn't be happier- I can see, & look better already. From consultation, to surgery to post-op follow up, I'm thrilled to have chosen Dr. Villanustre and his team. Rock Stars! Highly recommend!
Dr Villanustre recommended 3 sessions of laser rejuvenation that included forever young treatments (BBL) for the sun damage and dark spots on my face and skin tyte to tighten the neck skin. Also did botox and juvaderm. He is very knowledgeable, he explained me in detail the procedures and made me feel comfortable. The quality of service was great and his staff was very nice. I feel and look great. I will highly recommend Dr Villanustre for plastic surgery.
I felt better getting rid of the bags under my eyes. I can live with some wrinkles around my mouth . I am 71 and expect a few wrinkles. My eyes are my best feature. Been told have pretty eyes so glad to get rid bags under eyes. Now they will see my blue eyes and not so much the rest. I have more confidence now. Thanks to Dr Villanustre of Reflections at St Luke's in Clearwater. Also the nurses and staff that were so helpful and nice. I do recommend anyone that wants to improve their looks and self esteem to get an appointment for consultation with them.
Dr Nicolas Villanustra has destroyed my life. I can’t even look at myself in the mirror. I told him I only wanted a small amount of fat removed from my lower eyelids as I pointed it out with my finger. He NEVER discussed taking out the fat pads or I would have NEVER gone forth with this surgery. He should have discussed what he was going to do before but his monetary gain was more important. Why else wouldn’t he fully discuss his intentions with me, the patient? Now I have sunken eye orbits which are also discolored (black). I almost died when I looked in the mirror! Worst part is that the fat will never come back. It’s even embarassing to look at people. He has disfigured me permanently!!
Saw Dr. Villanustre for eyelid surgery and brow lift. He was rude, arrogant and condescending & I should have never considered surgery with him. 1. I woke up during surgery and heard him speaking which he later said he could not "confirm nor deny". 2. He botched the job horribly. NEVER saw me again. Sent his assistant to the follow-up. She said, "well, I've seen better & I've seen worse." Denied opportunity to speak with him. Wrote him letters/wrote letters to St. Lukes -- no response. If you're young and beautiful YES but if you're older & not perfect, forget this doctor IMO.
Liposuction most often doesn't remove all the fat cells from a certain location. It removes most of it from the deep fat layer and some places also the superficial. Depends on the techniques used by your surgeon. If it happens that you gain weight, some of the remaining cells will get bigger, but usually following the new shape created by the surgeon
Compression garments are a very important part of the postoperative time. They will help you during the recovery period, reduce swelling, could prevent seromas formation, and make you feel more comfortable. They feel snug during the immediate postoperative time, but eventually become looser, they will do the job anyway, unless they stretched too much and may need to change for a new one.I recommend my patients to use it at least for 6 weeks.Hope this answer you question, good luck
Abdominoplasty is the ultimate body-contouring option, allows the plastic surgeon to remove the sagging skin/stretch marks, excess fat, tighten up the abdominal muscles and like in my practice use liposuction to define even more the waist line and hips. All your descriptions are very common after having children, you may be in an ideal body weight and shape but that extra, loose skin will stay the same unless you remove it with surgery.Hope this answer your question and help you with your desicion
Selecting the ideal implant is one the keys for success in breast augmentationThey have to be the right implant for you.Having a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon will guarantee that your are appropriatly evaluated and you get the implant that fits your needs.A careful examination and accurate measurements of the width of your breast and chest, skin elasticity, etc will determine the approximate volume (cc), shape and style of the implant. If the implants are too big or heavy , you will probably have some issues in the future, like malposition, bottoming out, etcThank you for sharing your questionHope this answer will help you in your desicion
CoolSculpting is a non invasive way to get rid of localized fat , most commonly abdomenStudies have showed about 25% of fat reduction on the area treated. If significant weight gain happens, there will be increase of fat around the treated area.Liposuction has the advantage that allows the surgeon to work more precisely around the target areaHope this answered your question
