I'm scheduled to have mine in May- can you please keep me updated on your results? You look great! Wondering if you'll get more improvements?

I am not supposed to see full results until 6 weeks. I'll continue to post photos. Good luck :)

I do see a difference.

You can see a difference...a smoother contour so it doesn't look like a "double" chin :-)

You look great!!! I'm getting it done on Thursday and I'm super nervous and excited. I'm considering putting a lidocaine patch on my chin about a half hour before I go..,when did u put the numbing cream on and did your dr say it was ok?
April 10, 2017
I didn't ask the doctor. I used a lidocaine cream and I felt nothing . Also kybella does have lidocaine in it which helps some.

Thank you!! Also, did your doctor recommend the compression strap? I've heard conflicting accounts on this too.
April 10, 2017
I bought this stuff at CVS called "Coban". The doctors use it after drawing blood from your arm as a bandage. I wore this as a compression strap to bed and when i drove to work. I really really think this helped alot! I just didnt want to spend money on a compression strap but you need something to compress the swelling.
Also I bought arnica tablets and started taking them a day before the kybella and for a week after. This is supposed to help with the swelling as well. Good luck!

3 week update

The swelling is all gone. I still have some tingling and numbing sensation left. I noticed bumps where I was injected. I don't notice results yet, but I don't have a before photo here.

I am on my 5th day and feeling ugly. I was hoping by my 3rd week to see improvement :( wondering if it's worth it. Will you be having follow up treatments?
March 29, 2017
I still can't tell if it's worth it.. the ugly swelling will go down with time but I understand because I felt the same. I can't afford a follow up treatment for now but eventually I will do another . I will post the before pic in a bit, I'm trying to gave the dr send it to me. Hang in there :)

Did your provider give you an idea of how long the swelling should last?

March 8, 2017
From what I was told, some people have swelling for 4 weeks and others only a week.

Here's to hoping it's the shorter amount for you!
