One week after second round

WORTH IT
It’s been a week after the second round of injections and my chin is sore to the touch and slightly numb. It’s not as sore or as numb as the first time. Swelling has gone down considerably. See pic

Second round of injections

I have been very pleased with the results of Kybella. My double chin is barely noticeable in straight on pictures. Also, when I tilt my head down, I no longer have the sensation of having a prominent double chin. I wasn’t even sure I needed a second treatment! But after taking some pictures of myself from the side, I decided the area could use one more round. See pic.

Yesterday, Jan. 2nd, 2018, I went in for my second round of injections (3 vials over 30 injection sites) I took three Tylenol and applied arnica 1 hour before treatment. The injections did not burn as much this time, perhaps because there is less fat? Jennifer applied a damp towel to my neck for a few minutes after the injection. That seemed to help the temporary tattoo come off quite easily and it didn’t hurt at all.

This second round, I have a little bit of bruising, which is easily concealed with pressed powder. The area does not feel hot or achy like it did the first time around. It is quite swollen and again I feel that I look like I am wearing a fat suit...but I know that within a week my chin will be flatter then it was prior to the treatments. YAY!

Two weeks after first treatment

Its just shy of two weeks since my first treatment. Overall the area is still numb and a little sore. Seems like the Kybella has settled into the area of my chin closest to my windpipe. It’s a little firmer and more sensitive there. After looking at some photos, it seems like the area right behind my chin is a more of a diagonal back vs a droop. Progress!
