3 weeks out- starting exercise
Starting to feel more comfortable in the tightest hooks of my XL compression garment. Measurements have roughly stayed the same since week 1, but I'm just not as puffy and swollen.
Dr. cleared me for any exercise that doesn't involve me sitting or lying on my back, so I went to my favorite Strength building class and it felt awesome. I did feel a little light headed at one point, but I took a quick break then started again. Looking forward to a Zumba class tomorrow.
I wear spanx at night now instead of the compression garment and sleep much better. I wore spanx working out today, too. I'm considering going down a size with the garment, maybe soon.
The change in my butt is very subtle, but I like it. I'm 44 years old and have no desire to look like a Kardashian. I just wanted to look better in a swimsuit and have my clothes fit better. Very happy with the results so far! Dr. says the results will just get better and better with time. (Yay)

First day sitting and wearing Fitbit while recovering
Today was the first day my ps allowed me to sit -day 11. I drove the kids to school- 40 minutes round trip. I put a bbl pillow under my thighs and pillow at my back, and the pressure on my thighs hurt pretty badly. I didn't do any other sitting today- my thighs aren't ready.
Also, FYI, I wore a Fitbit from days 3-10 of my recovery and walked about a mile a day.

1 week Post Op- feeling better and seeing some results
It's been a rough week, but I feel a lot better today (one full week post op). I'm still swollen, but I am so happy to see the results so far.
My stats Pre-op: 41-37-41, weight 162.2
Stats 1 week post op: 41-32-43, weight 159.7
Of all the purchases I made to get me through the week, the female urinal was the best one, by far! Hovering over the toilet sucks, and this allows you to stand and pee. So much fluid this week- I almost filled it up several times!
One thing I learned is to put on the compression socks before putting on the faja- much easier to bend over to get them on.
My PS didn't have an opinion on the use of foam to smooth out the lipo areas. Based on the reviews here on RS I decided to give it a try because my faja was really digging into my sides and was really hurting and leaving lines. The first thing I felt with the foam was total relief from the pinching on my sides. The next thing I felt was horrible, horrible itching! I tried to ignore it, but 30 minutes later I couldn't get the faja off fast enough and found my entire torso covered in bright red hives/welts. Omg- so itchy and painful! So I took 2 benedryl, and put on a tank top before layering the foam and faja again. I was able to take a nice nap due to the benedryl and relief from pinching. I then over-did it with the foam. I thought I'd try 3 full 8X11 sheets around my torso. Omg- my faja became soooo uncomfortable, it was awful. 3 sheets was just too much extra pressure. Now I've cut one of the sheets in half and keep it on my back (over a tank top) because my faja had a line forming on my lower back. It's comfortable and I like it a lot.
I meet with my PS and get the stitches out in 5 days! So far, so good!
