I am now 2 weeks post surgery from a breast reduction operation that Mr Kalus performed for me. From the initial consultation, through the operation, the hospital stay and the after care, everything has been outstanding and I cannot recommend him and his capable staff highly enough. At the initial consultation, Dr Kalus listened intently to what I was looking for, asked questions and provided great advice. Whilst he was very focussed on ensuring that the operation met my needs, he was not afraid to put his own perspective forward and share his experience with me of similar cases. For example I wanted my breast size reduced to a DD cup, and Mr Kalus strongly suggested a D cup for a number of reasons including pressure on my back. (I'm so glad I took his advice, because it was absolutely the right decision). I walked away from the consultation feeling very confident that I had the right surgeon. On the day of the operation, everything went well. The operation was carried out in the Windsor Private Hospital - there was no waiting around, everything was extremely well organised. Dr Kalus and the anaesthetist took the time to ensure that I felt completely comfortable with the procedure, what was going to happen, risks etc. After the operation, I was very fortunate that Melinda was working overnight. She was an outstanding nurse who took very good care of me, ensuring that pain medication was delivered on time and going out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. She was extremely knowledgeable and very caring. Dr Kalus came in and visited me and again, his support was great, he's got an amazing bed side manner. The results from my operation are AMAZING ! I love my new boobs, they are a great shape and look very natural which is what I wanted. I have had follow up appointments with Megan who has again been fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, patient focussed and able to respond to any questions. They also provide complimentary light therapy, rose hip oil for scarring and the opportunity to come in and see them if there are any issues. There is nothing that I can say hasn't been handled brilliantly. This is one of the best experiences of my life, I feel so good. I wish I had done this many years ago. I feel extremely lucky to have had such a talent surgeon (and am grateful to my GP who identified him) who has a great team around him that make this such a positive experience. I cannot recommend Mr Kalus and his team highly enough.
