Juvaderm - Flawless Cosmetics Stacey
*PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING WITH THIS CLINIC* I booked in with this clinic summer 2019 for 1ml filler. The filler was adminstered by Stacey. During the appointment, Stacey pierced several points in my lips and each time there was blood gushing and squirting out of my lips. Stacey didnt seem fazed by this, so she continued. After she finished filling my lips, I immediately noticed that my lips were a horrible purple/black colour. Furthermore, I noticed that my lips were uneven, wonky and bumpy. I sat outside in the corridor/waiting area after the appointment and was told by 2 other patients that my lips looked uneven and 'messed up'. I stayed behind till Stacey was finished with her last appointment and asked to speak to her about 30/40 mins after my appointment. I spoke to Stacey and told her that I was unhappy with the results and that my bottom lip was clearly uneven. She dismissed all my concerns and told me to 'leave it alone' and that it would get better itself. I did as I was told and 'left it alone'. My lips got worse over the course of the following weeks and I cant describe how humiliating it was working face to face with customers looking like something had exploded in my lips. Overtime, the bruises and swelling disappeared and the unevenness remained. I couldnt afford to drive 2.5 hours up and pay for a correction so I left it as is. In the last two months, I noticed random bouts of pain and this pulsating sensation in my lips so I decided to contact Flawless Cosmetics. I was told by someone over text that they couldnt do anything about this since it had been over a year since my initial appointment. I was told if I wanted to rectify the unevenness I would have to pay for it in full. Two problems with this; firstly, I had already paid £250 for 1ml filler which was clearly administered WRONGLY. Secondly, irrespective of the appearance of lips, what about the medical concerns surrounding the fact that there was pain and a pulsating sensation in my lips? Flawless are more concerned about taking your money than caring for your lips (a very important feature on your face seen by everybody you come into contact with). After some back and forth with this mysterious person over the phone, I was finally offered a free consultation. So I drove 2.5 hours to see these people, only to be told that there is nothing they could possibly do for me for free and that I would have to pay for help. My problem: whether it had been 3 hours or 3 years, it does not change the fact that FLAWLESS administered some dodgy filler in my lips and using an incompetent practitioner to do so. Before Stacey, I had filler injected by Becky who also works at Flawless. Funny that I had absolutely no issues on this occasion? Anyways, Flawless completely refused to help me and the woman I saw during the consultation did not even examine my lips or attempt to feign sympathy or care. All she kept rambling on about was how there was nothing they could possibly do unless I paid money for it. Fast forward to today: I woke up this morning with purple lips and a horrible pain in my lips. I look like I have been punched in the mouth - like the pharmacist said. Because of COVID19, my purple lips are not considered an emergency so my GP wasnt able to see me so I had to make do with my local pharmacist. He thinks the filler has broken up/dissolved/migrated and along the way burst my blood vessels hence the purple/blue look. Flawless, I am so so so disappointed by your lack of care, by your administration of this toxic filler, by your service. I came to you because I was so unhappy about the appearance of my thin lips but now I am even more unhappy because although my lips are no longer thin, they are in fact an unnatural and scary purple colour. I wish I could go back in time and not come anywhere near your clinic because maybe today, I would have thin but healthy lips. I appreciate and understand that you cannot control how filler reacts in a patient's body. But you can control the aftercare and your willingness to help and rectify a filler case that has clearly gone wrong. Please please please save your money and pay the extra to see someone who is actually properly trained and qualified. I have shocking pictures of my lips if you would like to see proof of how wrong things can go if you are not careful.
